Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Modern homely spacious static caravan. The caravan itself is situated within a picturesque peaceful site in the coastal town of Silloth in Cumbria.
Hylton Park is the smaller sister site of the well known awarding winning Stanwix Park and is located around about half a mile away from Stanwix Park, within walking distance of all the local amenties available in the town of Silloth.
These include such venues as pubs, unique tourist shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, icecream parlour, sandwhich shops, cafes, fish n chip shops, takeaways, family amusement arcade, a slection of family fair ground rides, crazy golf, childrens outdoor splash pool and sandpit, and sea front.
Local bus services are available to visit surrounding areas such as the lakes and other small classic towns within the peaceful county itself.
The exquisite caravan comfortably caters for parties up to six persons. The home-like spacious lounge area is well decorated and contains a large TV with full freeview channels complete with DVD player, Gas fire, large comfortable seating area perfect for family socalising, table to enjoy family meals. The living room also contains a pull out double bed.
The ample size kitchen contains a gas cooker, George Forman Grill and fridge freezer, plenty of cupboard space, kettle, toaster and microwave just like home, along with sink facilities providing hot and cold water.
The caravan has 1 double bedroom containing a double bed and fitted wardrobe/cupbards and also has a room with 2 single pull out cabin style beds. This also has a fitted wardrobe. Bedding is provided.
The bathroom comes complete with sink, WC and shower cubicle.
The caravan site will take bookings for only families so this means that we are unable to accept any bookings from all male or female groups.
A small deposit of £50 will be required when your booking is confirmed leading to the full payments payable three weeks before the start of your holiday start. We will also accept part week bookings (minimum of 2 nights).
Stanwix Park and Hylton Park are renowned for their exquisite scenery and friendliness along with the excitement they provide and the relaxation the parks offer. The parks are less than an hour from the Scottish Border and only 30 minutes away from the centre of the tranquil scenary of the peaceful lake district.
In the town of Silloth itself the facilties are as expected whilst still maintaining its seaside status whether a quiet walk along the seashore under the sun or a walk through the cobbled town itself with the town leaning off the centre of the Solway Firth.
Access and visit all the attractions of the Lake district and Scottish Borders from a distance with the option to proceed further adventuring from the caravan itself.
The caravan is also used by the family and will be maintained to the standards of our own home. It would be appreciated that our guests respect this.
STANWIX PARK
Stanwix park has the following facilities:
Leisure centre, ten pin bowling, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, garden cafe, shop, amusement arcade, Children's indoor and outdoor play areas, tennis courts, crazy golf, full size snooker table and pool tables, family entertainment in the Sunset Inn for all ages, sky bar and Dunes cabaret bar for adults.
Day passes in to Stanwix Park are availabe during the 2011 season, priced at £6.50 per adult and £5.50 per child aged 5 and over, under 5's are free. |
