Caravan Park + Local Area Information

The caravan is equipped with a large flat-screen colour TV, DVD player, DVDs, crockery cutlery, toaster, microwave, gas cooker with pots and pans. Outside there is a patio set, rotary washing line and small grass lawned area with off road parking.

Gas and electric are included in the price as well as quilts and pillows, but you will need to bring your own sheets/duvet covers/pillowcases (duvets provided are all doubles) and your own bath towels.

Most dates available from April to December 2012. Choose from 3,4,7 and 14 nights to suit you, at very competitive rates. Check in usually by 11am, check out must be by 10am.

Prices range from £150-£280 for short weekend breaks, £250-£550 for week breaks - Saturday to Saturday, £700- £800 for 2 week breaks.

A £50 deposit is required to secure booking with the balance due 4 weeks before your holiday. You will also need to give a £50 cash bond on your arrival day which will be returned to you at the end of the holiday, once the caravan has been checked for any damage. Please note all damages and breakages will need to be paid for.

The caravan itself is immaculately clean and tidy throughout. There is plenty of room for a family, with a sitting area, dining area, master bedroom and another bedroom with a double bed, here is also a pull out double bed in the sitting area.

Families and couples only. No mixed groups or same sex groups please.

Besides the beach at Trecco Bay there are two other beaches within walking distance, Newton and Sandy Bay.

Trecco Bay is a clean and safe site. There are ample facilities on site with a large patio area and children's play park, a large water play area which is adjoining the restaurant and sports bar.

There are shows in the Showdome for children and Adults entertainment in the Timeout Club. The new sports bar has lots of large plasma screens to view Sky sports as well as pool tables and darts. There is also a bowling alley, Jungle Jims ball pit, dodgems, arcades as well as additional take away outlets on site. (For entry into the Showdome, indoor swimming pool and the Adults Timeout Club you will need to purchase weekly visitor's passes at a cost of between £5-£10 per person, per week (entry is free for children under 2 years old).

Within a 10 minute walk there is the Hi-Tide pub with regular entertainment and good food plus an arcade with a fair ground and market. Porthcawl town centre is within a 15 minute walk which has plenty of shops, good restaurants and pubs.

For the less able bodied there is a regular bus service from Trecco Bay to town and plenty of taxis. On the outskirts of Trecco Bay and within walking distance Newton village offers 3 nice village pubs a Saxon church and village green with a small children's park.
