Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
The location has everything anyone could want. It is easy to reach by train (Par Station is on a direct line to London) and by car. The long flat sandy beach is ideal for swimming and paddling with rock pools around the edge of the cliffs at low tide. Kayaking, kite and wind surfing, sand yachting and snorkelling are also popular pastimes in the clear waters of the bay.
For walkers, there is access to the coastal walks in both directions and also woodland areas steeped in history with the famous Eden Project only four miles away and easily accessible by bike, hiking, public transport and car. (There is a dog kennel available).
The whole of Cornwall is now interlaced with bike trails and local bike hire is easily available. It is a bird watchers paradise for wild birds and there are also various sanctuaries for owls and birds of prey quite close. If you want more adventurous activities they are also available all within easy reach of the caravan site. |
