Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
The caravan is owned and used by my family throughout the year and the remaining weeks are then let out to help cover the cost of the site fees. For this reason my prices are kept low and offer very good value for money, booking very quickly with many families returning every year. So if you are genuinely interested in any of the weeks, early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
The caravan itself is an older style caravan but was fully re-furbished 3 years ago. It provides a very clean, modern interior and is a pleasant base from which to get out and about to see all that Cornwall has to offer. If you like five star facilities with immaculate manicured grounds this is not the site for you. Such sites are available, but you will have to pay at least double the price I charge for the pleasure.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, separate bathroom with flushing toilet, shower cubicle and hot water. Electric heaters are situated in the living/dining area and there are two other electric heaters should you need them during the cooler months. Cooking is gas with a good size oven/grill, with a four ring hob and a microwave for convenience.
There is enough space to park your car with the caravan and there is a small picnic table and barbecue area. If you have a boat and would like to bring it with you, this could be stored on site with prior permission.
TERMS OF BOOKING: To secure a booking a non-refundable deposit is required of £50 with the full balance due 8 weeks before your stay. This £50 also acts as a security deposit against any damage to the caravan and is retuned on your departure.
Included in the cost of your holiday is the water and gas used during your stay. Electricity is NOT included in the holiday price, electric cards can be purchased on your arrival. There is a compulsory site membership fee of £2.50 per person staying in the caravan. Although the caravan is designed as a 6 berth, I choose to limit the number to 4 persons.
No dogs are permitted on the holiday park, this is a site rule and is not open to discussion. Strictly NO smoking in the caravan, if you do smoke in the caravan your deposit will be lost. All bedding will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday, arrive 15:00 and depart by 10:00.
Payments by cheque or paypal for the deposits, but the full balance must be paid by cheque only due to the excessive fees. No single sex group bookings.
