THE CARAVAN: A modern well appointed 2 bedroom caravan in a quiet corner of Newgale Coast Caravan Park providing comfortable accommodation for four people.
There is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom which is best suited for children. Duvet, pillows and bedding are provided. There is a comfortable lounge with gas fire, digital TV and DVD, and plenty of games and books.
There is a separate dining area adjacent to the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and a range of high quality crockery and kitchen equipment. The bathroom has a built in shower. There is plenty of storage space throughout.
The caravan benefits from gas central heating . Gas and electricity are included in the price, subject to reasonable usage.
OUTSIDE: There is decked verandah running the length of the caravan, with garden table,chairs and parasol, There is a charcoal barbecue which you are welcome to use, and there is an external storage box and additional storage underneath the decking. There are some body boards and kayaks which you can use.
THE SITE: Newgale Coast Caravan Park itself is immediately adjacent to the glorious Newgale beach – in fact, we are yet to find a caravan site in Pembrokeshire that is closer to a beach than this one. It is about a 200 metre walk from our caravan to the beach.
It is a very spacious site, with plenty of safe green spaces for children to play. The site is peaceful and relatively unspoilt (no clubhouse here!). If your ideal holiday includes a glass of wine on the verandah whilst you watch the sun set over St Brides Bay, then this will be perfect for you.
However, Newgale Coast Caravan Park is not isolated. There is a small beachside cafe, and a pub, shop and water-sports hire facilities available within a short walk. Newgale is a short drive from the county town of Haverfordwest and also the cathedral city of St David’s, and is well situated for access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and attractions of the National Park.
For walkers, the local Puffin Shuttle bus stops at the site. Newgale is a paradise for those who enjoy waters ports, especially surfing and wind surfing.
