a non refundable deposit of £70 per week is required within 4 days of booking to secure the booking, with the remainder to be paid 8 weeks before arrival date,if a late booking is made i.e.within 8 weeks prior to holiday date full payment will be required on booking confirmation.

Caravan Park + Local Area Information

Try our luxury caravan & get that feel good feeling, relax & admire the sea views or a few mins walk from the back of our caravan is the park complex with its clubhouse, amusement arcade, shop, reception & pools where you can join in the holiday fun.
Doniford Bay is having a further upgrade during the 09/10 closed season
( Refurb Showbar,New Tiolets,Cafe ,Pool area and Complex ) so will be even better.
Doniford Bay is also a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside.
Our caravan is a platinum range (highest grade) 2005 but same design & standard of 2009. Positioned on one of the most prime positions on the park. A few yards in front of our caravan are the sea-wall steps leading to a rocky beach which is great for exploring & finding crabs & fossils.
The caravan itself is very modern, contemporary yet very cosy 3 bedroom van & with the double glazing & central heating it is like a home from home only more. The lounge which lets in lots of daylight & has super views from all sides, consists of 2 free standing sofas (very cosy) one of which has a hidden pull out sprung double bed (duvet cover & pillows provided) which makes this into a 8 berth, 1 matching armchair flatscreen freeview TV / DVD player, TV drawer unit (childrens games / CDs & DVDs & books are left for you to use), modern feature wall fire, large coffee table, large overhead fan for those hot days, 2 central heating. radiators for when its chilly, carpeted & modern lighting throughout caravan.
The modern central kitchen finished in light wood & stainless steel is the full width of the van & has a fully tiled floor, so when entering from the side door there is no worry of mucky feet going straight onto carpets. This consists of integral fridge freezer & microwave, good size stainless steel sink/unit, modern gas cooker & overhead extractor, kettle/ toaster/iron & ironing board and a full range of crockery. Dining table & 4 chairs other spare seating available including baby seat, dining room dresser/storage unit, radio/CD player, central heating radiators, smoke alarm & a carbon monoxide detector is fitted for your safety.
Main bedroom at the end of hall consists of Double bed (duvet & pillows provided), Overhead & side storage cupboards, Overbed lighting wardrobe & dresser draw unit, and central heating radiator. Two twin bedrooms consist of 2 single beds in each (duvets & pillows provided), overhead storage cupboards, bedside cabinet, wardrobe & dresser/draw unit and central heating radiator. A babies travel cot is left in the caravan if you need it (so more room in the car or no extra hire charges).
Shower/toilet has a large step in shower unit with power shower, porcelain wash basin & toilet, mirrored cabinet & extractor fan and central heating radiator.
Balcony is spacious & continues around to side door of caravan it is gated for privacy & safety.
Patio furniture is left for your use (includes table/chairs & parasol). Own parking area at caravan.
Duvets and Pillows are supplied.
Please bring your own bed lined i.e. Duvet Covers Sheets & Pillowcases also own Towels as these are not provided.
you can hire bed linen from haven if prefered but this is at a charge.
Doniford bay is situated in the Quantox Hills in West Somerset, about 7 -8 miles from Minehead town centre & sandy beach (bus to Minehead from park or take the steam train). The West Somerset steam railway is within walking distance of the park & has many pick up/drop off stops (take advantage of its day ticket).
The area is perfect for long walks , cycling or driving to explore the magnificent Quantox Hills, Exmoor, Taunton, Dunston Castle, Watchet Harbour or Blue Anchor with its sandy beach. You can visit Washford Tropiquaria or go further afield & visit Chedder Gorge or Wookey Hole with its famous caves. If you wish to stay local you can enjoy the rambling hills or walk along the beach to Watchet Harbour (when the tide is out of course).
Caravan is available from 2pm on day of arrival. To be vacated by 10.30am on day of departure. Prices are exclusive of entertainment passes, as some holidaymakers prefer to just use caravan as a base to explore surrounding countryside. Passes can be purchased from reception if required. Gas & electricity included in price

We are relatively new to the park & consider ourselves really lucky to have such a super van & a fantastic spot (our little bit of heaven as we call it). We feel it a waste to leave such a 'haven' empty when we cannot get down ourselves, so in our first year 2008 we let Haven let it for us & was fully booked.
2009 we let privatly and was again fully booked
2010 we are again letting privatly and are offering it to let to 'nice people' who will look after our van & enjoy it as we do, in between using it ourselves. So if you are interested and require further information please ring or e-mail us and we will only be too happy to answer any queries.
STRICTLY no pets allowed if this is ignored you will be asked to vacate the caravan.
No smoking allowed inside caravan
Booking in peak season will be on a 7 or 14 night basis, shorter breaks may be available in low season on request. You can find cheaper caravans to hire but once you see our caravan & most importantly its position on the park you wont be disappointed.
