Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Plenty of places to visit in and around Conwy. Conwy has many attractions with its castle amongst the foremost, Aberconwy House and the Smallest House in Britain, plus various National Trust properties, are also worth a visit.
There are other magnificent castles in the area, including Caernarfon, Bodelwyddan and Beaumaris on Anglesey. Visit the Isle of Anglesey and enjoy Sea Zoo and the Butterfly, Bird and Minibeast Palace. Or, perhaps, take a day trip to Ireland from Holyhead.
Take a trip up Snowdon on the Mountain Railway, or take a pleasure flight over the Mountains and Castles of Snowdonia. Maybe a more leisurely horse ride over the area is more to your taste. Enjoy the scenery of Snowdonia by taking a trip on the Ffestiniog Steam Railway.
Visit Llandudno for shopping and strolling along the promenade and pier. Tour the Bronze Age Copper Mines on the Great Orme. Other places to visit include the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay, the Sun Centre at Rhyl with its rides, slides and pools or the renowned Italianate village of Portmeirion.
There is a bus stop immediately outside the main entrance of the park covering the main tourist places and attractions / interests. A railway station is also nearby in Conwy and in Llandudno Junction. A large 24 hour Tesco Supermarket is also in close proximity.
