Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Advertised for the first time last year we received very positive feedback, and will continue to offer very competitive rates. Our privately owned caravan is situated within the Oak Forest area of the Parkdean owned White Acres Site at Whitecross near Newquay which advertises itself as Cornwall's premier fishing destination boasting thirteen well stocked coarse fishing lakes.
The White Acres Site is also great for kids as it has an indoor swimming pool and plenty of safe play areas. Ours have loved it and made good friends.
Priced well under advertised rates eleswhere we want people to enjoy our Cornish base as much as we enjoy returning to my homeland and I will be happy to offer a local insight to places to go and see.
The caravan is fully equipped, with a double bedroom,a twin bedroom, shower room plus additional toilet, lounge diner and kitchen. Can sleep up to four. There is a deck with patio furniture, parasol and bbq with views over surrounding countryside. Outside storage locker and tackle locker plus hard parking bay alongside caravan.
If, like us, you like to visit year round, not just in summer, the caravan has central heating, a gas fire and double glazing.
Available for Saturday to Saturday hire.
NOTES: We ask that hirers leave the caravan clean as this allows us to keep our prices low. We do not offer a cleaning service and this worked well last year. You need to take your own linen. Duvets and pillows are provided.
Fishing is by permit bought on site but competition anglers should note that entry to a White Acres Fishing Festival is excluded to private hirers.
Club passes are available on site and a full entertainment programme is offered.
White Acres is a family site and group single sex bookings or bookings by persons under 21 years of age are not permitted under Parkdean rules. This does not affect same sex couples or single sex family groups.

"Hi Kelvin & Jen
We have had a lovely holiday. Your caravan and the site is lovely we normally go to looe once a year but newquay is far nicer so will be visiting again. we also struck lucky with the weather.
We have left your van spotless it is ready for your next guests. if we get a chance to go back to Cornwall this year we will check to see if your van is free.
The only problem we had was the kettle would not stay switched on so we have used the spare one and left the other in the cupboard.
Many thanks
Kelvin wrote;

"Hi Kelvin,
Just to let you know we had a really good time and the caravan was great, i had a bit of a misshap doing the washing up and broke a glass and cup. I am really sorry and if you let me know the cost i will send you a cheque to pay for the damage. I hope this does not stop you hiring the caravan out to us again next year.
Thanks
Kelvin writes; No worries, we put extra evrything in as we know there will be the odd breakage. Please come again and there is definetly no charge

"Thank-you for the use of your caravan. We had great week and found your tips on where to go most helpful. Highlight was the camel trail and the pasty shop in Wadebridge you reccommended. Our four year old loved the site kids club and pool which was handy when it rained. A lot fatter but will try and go again next year, loved it, thanks."
