Caravan Park + Local Area Information

We are on The Welcome Family Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren South Devon.
The Welcome Family Holiday Park is a very popular park as they have lots of facilites on there such as 4 indoor heated swimming pools, enclosed children's play area, sport's arena, club house that have great shows nightly with talent show's disco, quiz's, bingo, there is the Welcome bite where you can have food delivered to your table while watching the great shows, or as a take-away or a delivery to your caravan. Club & pool passes are bought from reception at a weekly cost of £5.00 per adult per week for both and children 5/17 years old £3.00 per week for both under 5's are free.
The beach is approx a 5 min walk away, outside the Welcome Family Holiday Park there is a bakery, where you can get freshly baked bread, pies pasties, cakes, cooked meats etc. mini supermarket, chinese take-away, a fish and chip shop. There are other pubs in the area with live music where you can grab a snack or a meal.
Places of Interest
There is a nature reserve on the way to the beach, a few fair ground rides for the children, and go carts for the bigger children, there is a large grassed area for a picnic or football cricket or to just sit a chill out.
Other places worth a visit are, Torquay, Exeter, Exmouth, Dawlish town, Teignmouth, Shaldon, Newton Abott, Becky Falls, Kents Caverns, Powderham Castle and lots more either by car, train, or bus as these services are very good and in the warren its self.

We are now taking bookings for 2011 with a £50 deposit to secure the date you want be quick as we get booked up realy quickly. In 2010 the deposit will be £100 to secure your date we also let you pay by instalments if it helps so you dont have to worry about saving for your holiday and spending money at the same time. Our aim is for you to enjoy that all important holiday without the stress.
So dont be slow or you might miss out and once you have been you will want to go again.Pets are welcome at a nominal charge £25.00/£30.00 depending on breed and size

Directions: From the M5 south to junction 30 then follow the A379 towards Exeter/Dawlish for approx 15miles which could take about 20/30 mins from the motorway depending on the traffic and time of year you go, but its pretty straight forward. If you need more directions dont hesitate to get in touch and ask.
