Holiday Home and Location DetailsThe caravan is privately owned and is situated on a small exclusive site overlooking the sea on the coast between Fishguard and Dinas Head. The site is approximately 12 miles north of St. Davids and 2 miles north of Fishguard.
It has a double bedroom with en suite toilet and a twin room. There is a spacious dining/lounge area, a shower room with toilet and wash-hand basin and a fully equipped kitchen. It is double glazed and has central heating. It is surrounded by a patio with table and chairs for sitting out and eating al fresco.
On Fishguard Bay there is a well equipped shop and there are swings and a slide where the children gather to play and make friends. There is also a launderette on site.
The Coast path runs through the site and affords good walking along the cliffs, to a small beach and Dinas Head in one direction and to Fishguard Harbour and the Ship Inn in the other. It is ideally situated for a good days hike or just a gentle evening perambulation.
There are beaches within easy driving distance and Strumble Head is 15 minutes away. Choughs, Ravens and Peregrine Falcons nest along these cliffs and are seen regularly in the area.
Sea birds congregate hear in early Spring to pair up before going out to the islands to nest and rear their young. Guillemots, Razorbills and Fulmers jostle for places to on the perilous rocky ledges. Gannets are increasingly seen gliding over the surface of the sea in their search for fish.
Seal pups can be seen on the small inaccessible beaches along the coast path from mid September onwards to the end of November. There is a Cardigan Bay Dolphin pod and these are often sighted by walkers along the cliff path. The Flowers on the coast path and on the Preselli Hills are abundant, colourful and fragrant, and a joy to behold.
There are many activities in the area and are advertised at the site and in the caravan. For example there is Oakwood Adventure Park, Folly Farm and Clerkenhill Wildlife Park, Canoeing and Rafting at Penarth, Horseriding in the Preselli Hills, The Bishops Palace at St Davids and many Castles to visit. All within easy access of the caravan.

|Comments:||This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire and will definitely be back again… the location of the caravan on the park is perfect, with stunning views of Fishguard Bay/the harbour and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The caravan itself is very modern, clean and has everything you need to kick back and relax, plus the kids absolutely loved it! Probably the nicest van/park we have stayed at. The site is in a great location with lovely sandy beaches and lots of towns nearby (small and large within 5 mins drive to half hour)… we recommend Whitesands beach (before St Davids) for the children and Fishguard harbour for crabbing! ;-). Booking the van was easy and the owner (Pip) was always very helpful and responsive to all of our queries. We will be recommending this caravan to all our family and friends and will be back again ourselves for sure!|

|Comments:||"They say first impressions are everything, well it is certainly true here. When you leave the main road and approach the site you can not fail to be impressed by it's location. A huge sky and seascape that takes you breath away every time you arrive. The site is perched on it's own head of land sticking out into the Irish Sea with unrestricted views across Fishguard Bay and sunsets to die for. The park is immaculate, well maintained and has a pretty well stocked shop with sensible prices. A bottle of decent wine costing about £7, which is Okay. The caravan is a couple of feet wider than norm which makes a difference plus it accommodates an en-suite in the master bedroom. Clean , modern and with grown up wine glasses! Fab patio with a bench and table for sitting out on a warm evening with a glass or two watching that sun set. The Pembrokeshire coastal path actually runs through the park , a couple of hours to the left takes you to Fishguard and to the right the Old Sailors Arms with its own beach, ale and good food, heaven. Not open Mondays though. We had wonderful weather for our entire stay and can not recommend enough, thanks Pip. We'll be back!|

|Comments:||Our family had a wonderful holiday at Rosebay. We adored the caravan - it was a great size for a family of four and had all the things we needed. It was clean and bright with a beautiful view of the bay. The caravan site had a little playground and a launderette that we used often, and as it was right on the coastal path we went on several walks. The location was great for day trips to Whitesands beach, inland on rainy days to a water park, castle visits or driving tours of the national park. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.|

|Comments:||Fishguard Bay is a lovely well maintained site. The caravan ‘Rose Bay’ was excellent, very comfortable, well equipped with beautiful views of the bay. All in all a good base from where to explore Pembrokeshire.|

|Comments:||In June we decided to have a holiday. We had previously owned a holiday van at Saundersfoot and enjoyed the area so much that we thought a similar van near the coast would be the ideal thing. On looking down the various sites we came across Fishguard Bay. We were delighted to find Rosebay vacant for the time we wished for. On arrival, we were thrilled to find a beautifully presented van, complete with all the necessities required for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The panoramic views were just as we had wished for. The site was beautifully kept and the adequate facilities meant that one did not need to go off site. The walks were very pleasant along the Coastal path. There were plenty of eateries and take-aways if one wished to be lazy but for us it was lovely to return to the van and have food of our choice and a drink sat out on the patio admiring the views. To us it was the best choice we could have made.|
