The Grange is a small, family-run site in rural Norfolk. Although situated in a beautifully tranquil location there are several attractions just a short drive away.
Built in 2004, the purpose built carp lake is kept well-stocked. Even if you do not fish yourself, this makes a beautiful setting for dining al-fresco in the adjacent picnic area.
Despite it's tranquil setting, The Grange is within easy reach of a wealth of local attractions for those who wish to go exploring. The historic City of Norwich, with it's bustling shopping centre, is only 14 miles away from The Grange and the small market town of Diss just 6 miles.
Just five and a half miles from The Grange lies Banham Zoo, voted one of the top 3 zoos in the UK by Which magazine. The Zoo also holds a car boot sale most Sundays. Another attraction is The Bressingham Steam Museum, 8 miles away. It is set in lovely landscaped gardens and offers a unique glimpse into the past. It also houses a surprise. Much of the filming for "Dad's Army" took place locally, with many of the vehicles used in the show lent by the museum.
