The Caravan is located in the ever-popular Haven Devon Cliffs Holiday Park,which has a large entertainment and leisure complex. Passes for this are not included in the price and can be purchased on arrival at the Haven Reception Desk.
The 2011 cost of an adult weekly pass is £39 (HS)/£26.50 (LS) and children £20.25 (HS)/£14(LS), a group pass is available for a maximum of £179(HS)/ £129(LS). The 2012 prices have not yet been announced.
The complex offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools with slides, daily and evening entertainment, bars, takeaways and children’s clubs.
Also, on the site is a cliff top bar/restaurant,which is at present being rebuilt, which can be accessed without passes. This stands above an impressive sandy beach. Swimming pools are available on a pay as you go basis. There is a spa, beauty salon and gym also available with their own charges.
Devon Cliffs is dog friendly with multiple exercise areas and has direct access to the coastal path which allows walking westwards to Exmouth Beach and onward to the town, and eastwards to Budleigh Salterton's pebble beach and town. The path is at the end of the famed Jurassic coast, which has been classified as a world heritage site and has been featured on the television.
Immediately next to Devon Cliffs is the Devon Country Life Park, and a large Tesco’s is within a 10-minute drive.
For those with a more adventures spirit Woodbury Common and Dartmoor are within easy reach. While sports such as wind surfing and kite surfing are enjoyed or watched from Exmouth Beach. There are two golf courses within the immediate area. Sea Fishing is available from Exmouth Beach and Docks.
Bedding is available if required at a small cost.
