Large decking area overlooking the lake. Car free access so safe for children. En suite wash room and separate shower room. Selection of DVD's. Duvets and pillows provided. Bed linen can be provided at an additional cost of £15 per stay. Towels not provided. For fishing enthusiasts the lake is well stocked with a wide variety of fish. Day and week passes can be bought at reception. You can obtain an Environmental Fishing Licence at the local post office in the local village Ore. The village also has a number of useful shops including a well-stocked Co-op with free rooftop parking. Wi-fi - There is a Wi-fi Hot Spot antenna near the caravan and 2014 prices were.

Our caravan is a comfortable and well-appointed. It is popular because of its location and lake view.
It has central heating and double glazing and a stunning view of the lake. There are 2 bedrooms one with en-suite WC with wash hand basin and one with two single beds. There is a separate shower room with a wash hand basin. In the lounge there are two large sofas one of which has a concealed double bed.
There is an open plan lounge and kitchen with an adjacent dining area. It has a flat screen Freeview TV with built in USB recorder and a separate DVD player.
Outside there is a large decking area with table and chairs, which overlooks the lake. (the decking furniture is stored in the adjacent cabin).

Coghurst Hall is convenient for visiting places like nearby Battle Abbey (scene of the Battle of Hastings 1066). Hastings quaint Old Town, the new entertainment and children’s area along the front, wonderful walks, the choice of the best fish restaurants the stunning views from the extensive Country Park that is a walker’s paradise - available by road or from the Town via the East Hill funicular railway. There is another funicular railway in the town centre taking you to the West Hill park and the Smugglers Caves. The historic town of Rye with its cobbled streets, medieval church and multitude of antique shops is just a short drive. For miles of sandy beach and dunes Camber sands is a 25-minute drive of the site.
