Main Description
The static is double glazed and centrally heated by LPG (you control the heating) and has an electric fire in the lounge. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 singles. All the beds have duvets, the beds are all made up ready for your arrival. Please bring your own towels.
There is a shower room with sink and a separate toilet with wash hand basin.
The kitchen has a full size gas cooker, fridge,microwave, toaster and is well equipped.
The lounge is open plan with ample space and seating for the whole family. It has an electric fire, 42" freeview TV, games console with games. small selection of DVDs and books. LPG and electric is included in the price.
There is parking for 2 cars.
No Smoking.
With countryside views from the rear and distant sea views to the front Snowdonia Static makes an excellent base from which to explore the Cambrian coast, the breathtaking Rhinog mountains and spectacular Mount Snowdon. We are also ideally situated for the Llanfair slate caverns, bounce below and zip world, Surf Snowdonia, Coed y Brenin (mountain biking and walking), the famous Portmeirion village and Betws y Coed in the heart of Snowdonia.
We are are 5 miles north of the seaside town of Barmouth and 5 miles south of Harlech with its famous castle.

The Cambrian coast railway running from Aberystwyth to Pwhelli(recently named as one of the worlds top ten epic train journeys)has a station approx half a mile walk from us, along quiet country lanes.
There are 2 pubs in the village Ael y Bryn and Cadwgan,both serving bar food. Ael y Bryn just a couple of mins walk from us also has a restaurant, booking is recommended. Post Office, newsagents, off license. Kebab house. Well stocked spar store with an excellent award winning butcher all within an easy walk.

WE ALSO HAVE A DOUBLE EN SUITE ROOM IN THE HOUSE THAT WE LET FOR B & B @ £70.00 per night so if you have family or friends that want to visit for all or part of your stay they can be close without being in the van with you. (Mick and Janes B and B, details on trip advisor)

Absolutely lovely, peaceful quiet location, very helpful owners basically we waiting for next holiday to book it in a same place :) A very enjoyable stay - Highly recommended.

Our impressions on arrival were good and the static was very clean and tidy. It was as described and the photos gave a true likeness. Being situated midway between Barmouth and Harlech gave an ideal location for exploring this very beautiful part of Wales. A short stroll west brought us to a lovely quite sandy beach and double joy was to stumble on a super pub/restaurant half way which serves very good food. The static's owner/manager was very pleasant and was unintrusive, giving the feel of privacy. However, with its location came disconnection, WiFi was not available and at the time of writing, only a very unreliable GPRS mobile signal was present. But, WiFi was not stated in the description so its absence was expected. So, if you need to be connected that might be a problem.
Red hot weekend

This was our first time in the caravan at Mick and Janes and I must say it was a perfect weekend for the weather. Very comfortable and ideal for commuting locally. The local cafe does a great breakfast and you can get wifi at the local pub. The beach was near by you could either walk or drive. There is a spar with a butchers and the local post office and a garage. Nice garden to sit and have a morning coffee.
