Our 3 bedroom, 7 berth caravan was completely refurbished to a very high standard in 2012. It benefits from full double glazing, gas central heating and is fully equipped to ensure a fantastic family holiday. It is located in a peaceful area of ‘Cedars’ of Parkdean’s Newquay Park but only two minutes’ walk from the central amenities. It is perfectly located on a sun-soaked corner of Cedar’s and is backed by trees and greenery behind to add to a feeling of isolation. The caravan has its own private car parking space.
The open plan lounge has generous seating and includes a foldaway double bed. There is a new 35 inch HDTV and DVD/CD player and a small selection of family films/games and books. The dining area has a family table and chairs. A travel foldaway child’s high chair is supplied.
The kitchen area is equipped with utensils, fridge and freezer (great for longer stays), microwave, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven and 4 ring hob.
There is a shower room and basin with a separate toilet.
The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets and drawers for storage. There is floor space between the bed and wardrobes / dressing table to allow a baby cot (also supplied). The twin bedroom has two single beds, storage cupboard and wardrobe. The single bedroom has a single bed, cupboards and wardrobe. The lack of additional bed allows a more spacious feel and additional storage space.
Pillows and duvets are provided, linen however is not included but can be provided for an additional fee of £30.
Newquay Holiday Park is an award winning site and you can enjoy 3 outdoor heated (very warm!) swimming pools and 200ft water slide. It is perfect for adults and children, and open long hours in the summer. Even in the cooler 16 degree C summer, our children tried to enjoy the pool for many hours.
There is an amusement arcade, outdoor and indoor play areas as well as pitch and put. The central amenities include a convenience store, launderette, ‘Fistral’ club and ‘Treganna’ bar and grill (with free Wi-Fi).
The Park is located 3 miles from central Newquay and beaches and is just 15 minutes from Newquay’s iconic Fistral beach.
Locally there is plenty to do including Newquay zoo, Blue Reef aquarium, Trerice National Trust site, great restaurants, local theatre, stunning beaches, local riding schools, watersports and of course surfing. Our caravan provides a great central point to explore the whole of Cornwall and its many attractions including National Trust and English Heritage sites and beaches (St Agnes and Chapel Porth are a must), Falmouth, Truro, Lands End, seal sanctuaries, maritime museums, St Michael’s Mount, Lost Gardens of Helligan as well multiple theme parks.
