Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Exceptional walking as the caravan is at the edge of Snowdonia National Park with easy access to paths. Craiglwyd caravan park is a five star site and one of the finest in Wales. There are superb views from the site which is very well maintained.
The village of Penmaenmawr is within walking distance for groceries and other necessities. Conway is three miles away with its dramatic castle, inviting tea shops and quay. The Conway valley offers beautiful walking and driving routes. Anglesey with its splendid beaches is within a short driving distance.
The nearby town of Llandudno offers excellent shopping, restaurants, theartre and Welsh choral singing in the summer months. A tour around the Great Orme is not to be missed. The cathedral city of Bangor provides a rewarding day out for history enthusiasts with the ancient cathedral open to all and the University dominating the skyline.
A walk along the pier in Bangor gives great views of the coastline of North Wales. Penmaenmawr is ideally suited for all the attractions in North Wales when a break is needed from walking in the surrounding hills.
