Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
This caravan is sited in a quiet location (Sussex Park) and is less than 5 minutes walk to Camber beach, the most fantastic beach in the south-east (see photos) which is safe for swimming. The site's facilities are also a short walk away.
A superb cross-country cycle path away is the ancient town of Rye which is great place to eat and shop, and Hastings is one stop along on the train. In the other direction is Folkestone/Dover (great for hopping on a ferry to France) and Ashford (with its international station for London/Paris and the Designer Outlet).
Camber Sands Holiday Park (parkresorts.co.uk - see website) has loads of facilities for the use of all . There is a fantastic complex with several pools and a flume, a lovely bar/restaurant, an entertainments complex with daily shows, quizzes and bingo nights, loads of entertainment for children, amusements, play areas, all weather and tennis courts, and an on-site shop.
