Main Description
The caravan is privately owned and is situated on a small exclusive site overlooking the sea on the coast between Fishguard and Dinas Head. Fishguard Bay Resort is approximately 12 miles north of St Davids and 2 miles north of Fishguard.

It has a double bedroom with en suite toilet and a twin room. There is a spacious lounge/dining area, a well equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet and wash-hand basin. It is double glazed and has central heating. It is surrounded by a patio with table and chairs for sitting out and eating al fresco.

On Fishguard Bay caravan park there is a well equipped shop and there is a small play area with swings and a slide where the children gather to play and make friends. There is also a laundrette on site.

The coast path runs through the site and affords good walking along the cliffs to a small beach and Dinas Head in one direction and to Fishguard Harbour and the Ship Inn in the other. It is ideally situated for a good days hike or just a gentle evening perambulation.

There are sandy beaches within easy driving distance and Strumble Head is 15 minutes away. Choughs, Ravens and Peregrine Falcons nest along these cliffs and are seen regularly in the area.

Sea birds congregate here in early spring to pair up before going out to the islands to nest and rear their young. Guillemots, Razorbills and Fulmers jostle for places on the perilous rocky ledges. Gannets are increasingly seen gliding over the surface of the sea in their search for fish.

Seal pups can be seen in the small inaccessible bays along the coast path from mid September onwards to the end of November. There is the Cardigan Bay Dolphin pod and these are often sighted by walkers along the cliff paths. The flowers on the coast paths and on the Preselli Hills are abundant, colourful and fragrant and a joy to behold.

There are many activities in the area and are advertised on the site and in the caravan. For example there is Oakwood Adventure Park, Folly Farm and Clerkenhill Wildlife Parks, canoeing and rafting at Penarth, horseriding in the Preselli Hills, The Bishops Palace at St Davids and many Castles to visit. All within easy reach of the caravan.

Customer Comments:
My mum and I stayed in this caravan and had a very relaxing and peaceful week (unfortunately there was no category for 'mother and daughter' in the type of holidaymaker.) The caravan was very clean and provided all the necessary facilities. The master bedroom is a good size and has its own toilet and wash hand basin which was lovely for my mum. The caravan is situated right on the coast path so wonderful for coastal walks and it is ideally placed for trips to St. Davids, Whitesands Bay and Abereiddy. The layout of the caravan park is such that you don't feel in close proximity to neighbouring caravans so it is very quiet. Also there is a lovely shop on the site which provides any necessary provisions.

Customer Comments:
We found this caravan on the website. From start to finish all ran smoothly. We had regular contact with the owner and we found it extremely good value for money. We were provided with clear directions to the site. The caravan was well situated on a beautiful site, the caravan itself had everything to make our stay very comfortable. Although we were very lucky with the weather we could have stayed in if it rained and looked at the view of the bay, read one of the many books, or played one of the games provided. There was an excellent black book with lots of information on places to go and local beaches. We found this handy as many beachesare off the beaten track. All had plenty of parking and cafe's.The site itself was very clean and although small, the shop had the basics we needed. There were beautiful walks to try from the site and we found things to do every day, from 5 minutes to 30 minutes away. We will defiantly book this caravan again. .

Customer Comments:
We stayed in this caravan with our young baby (4 months old at the time) and had a wonderful holiday here. The caravan provided a lovely, cosy base to explore Pembrokeshire, and the campsite is amazing- gorgeous views, right on the coastal path and lovely staff at the shop, and there are so many interesting place to visit a short drive away. We found everything we needed in the caravan and the master bedroom was big enough for our travel cot as well. When we had trouble finding the boiler (outside), we phoned the housekeeper who was very helpful! A minor improvement that could be made was to update some of the instructions, but generally we found everything very easy and straightforward. The wifi code can be obtained from the shop and works for week- we had great signal in the caravan (but no phone reception as expected!).
