Our privately owned caravan is situated at Auchnahillin Caravan Park, which is a friendly family run 10 acre park, set in a tranquil glen surrounded by forests, mountains and moors. 10 mins south-east of Inverness, just off the A9 on the B9154 road to Moy. With beautiful views over the hills and trees. Rabbits can often be seen running around the area.
On Auchnahillin Caravan Park there's a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a small shop at the reception which also has leaflets and brochures on where to go and what to see and do in and around Inverness.
For the children a brand new wooden climbing frame with slide and swings has recently been built.
Our caravan is an ideal base for touring the Scottish Mainland. Just 10 mins from Inverness with the shopping centres, bars, restaurants and take-aways. Outside of the town centre you can access the cinema, tenpin bowling, Bught Park and ice skating. There are also many other sites to visit such as Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle just a short drive away.
Play Zone at the Inshes Retail Park is a fantastic soft play area, parents can enjoy a cuppa while the kids play.
We have travelled further afield and have visited the Black Isle Wildlife Park, Codonas Amusement Arcade and Funfair in Aberdeen approx 2hrs drive. Deep Sea World in North Queensferry approx 2 1/2 hrs drive and Edinburgh is 2hrs 35 mins drive. Aviemore and Landmark in Carrbridge are both approx 20 mins from the caravan.
The caravan park is ideally situated for other areas of interest. Walks in Daviot Woods, Seal and Dolphin boat trips at North Kessock, Quad biking and other activities at Bogbain Farm 5 mins from the caravan park.
