Caravan Park + Local Area Information

Our Caravan is family owned and we use it regularly, so you can be assured it is always clean and tidy. The van is located to the rear of the holiday park in a quiet spot but still within easy access of the facilities. It has double patio door opening onto an enclosed wooden deck, perfect for outdoor dining, barbeques or sunbathing.

We provide quilts and pillows and the kitchen is fully equipped. The fridge does have a small freezer compartment at the top. The large oven & hob are gas fuelled.

The bedrooms consist of 1x double bedroom with a proper double bed with memory foam mattress and fitted wardrobes and dressing table. The twin room has 2x single beds and built in wardrobe

The living area has a glass dining table with 4 proper chairs and 2 seperate freestanding sofas. The shower room is a good size with wash hand basin and toilet.

There are many beaches to discover along this coast including the nearest, Harlyn Bay which is only 10 minutes walk through the site, (avoiding roads). There are another 5 beaches nearby all with beautiful scenery and walks. A coastal path links the beaches, a perfect way to explore this beautiful area.

Padstow is just a short drive away from Harlyn Sands Holiday Park, with its many boutiques, fudge & ice cream shops, art galleries and surf shops you can spend all day exploring. Padstow also has many lovely restaurants including the famous Rick Stein's.

Padstow marks the start of the world famous Camel Trail. This is a cycle & walking path which has been created on the old railway line. It runs along side of the River Camel and makes for a beautiful bike ride and walk. In Padstow you could visit the National Lobster Hatchery and purchase freshly caught fish in the local fishmongers. There is also a passenger ferry from Padstow to Rock. Padstow also has a Tesco supermarket, ideal for stocking up on the essentials.

An 18 hole golf course is located just outside Harlyn Sands Holiday Park. Newquay is a 45 minute car drive away. So is the Eden project. In fact, Harlyn is a great base for exploring Cornwall. At reception you will find a display stand with many leaflets on places to go and things to see in and around Cornwall.

We love our van and hope you will too, it brings a real sense of peace and relaxation. It really is a home from home.
