Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
The Cala Gran Caravan Park has all the modern amenities that families require for a fun filled holiday. There are clubs for the children and character figures that are involved with various activities.
A recently revamped restaurant offers a wide range of food for everyone. Evening activities are available for both children and adults.
There is a swimming pool and an outside splash pool with sun loungers. Passes are required for some of the activities and these are available from Cala Gran Reception.
Cala Gran is ideally situated for Fleetwood, Freeport, Cleveleys and Blackpool.
Directly opposite the site is Farmer Parrs, lots of animals to look at or hold. There are donkey rides and a large outside play area. Fancy a snack or main, there is a great cafe serving some delicious home made meals. They also have a small pottery where you can paint and decorate a variety of pots, which can then be put in the kilns and you can collect later.
Public transport for these destinations is accessed directly outside the park.
Fleetwood boasts a long pebble/sandy beach and has children's play area, bowls and crazy golf and picnic areas.
In the centre is the Fleetwood Museum which has a great display of Fleetwood as a thriving fishing port. In addition there is a great children's quiz which keeps them interested and amused.
For those wishing to "shop till they drop", Freeport is just a stones throw away. A visit to the seaside would not be complete without "fish and chips" so why not pop into Richardson's. Cleveleys has had a fantastic face lift and now boasts a wonderful promenade. There is a new cinema complex and ice skating facilities.
