Low Season: From £175 (per week)
High Season: To £525 (per week)

Weekly bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks of either 3 nights (Fri to Mon) or 4 nights (Mon to Fri) can be arranged (excluding July/Aug). Prices available on request. Bookings are taken with a 25% deposit, with the balance due 8 weeks prior to stay. Payment can be made by personal cheque or direct bank transfer in pounds sterling. For payments in any other currency, or via a credit/debit card we can also offer payment via Paypal. Sorry, but due to previous experiences, the main hirer must be over 21 and we cannot accept bookings for single sex groups. A £150 security deposit is taken with the final balance and is fully refundable after your stay, subject to no major breakages or damage.

Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Our lovely mobile home, is sited on a large corner pitch, in a nice quiet area of the Martello Beach (Haulfryn) park at Pevensey Bay, near Eastbourne, famous as "The Sunshine Coast". There is a dedicated tarmac parking place right alongside and further general parking spaces, just on the other side.
The home benefits from a very large deck area, that is full south facing and has four modern textile sun chairs and a table/parasol provided.
The main clubhouse & leisure centre building in the centre of Martello Beach, is only a couple of minutes stroll away. Here you will find Reception, Laundrette, Indoor and outdoor play areas, Amusement machines, Bar & Restaurant, plus FREE use of Large indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna & Gymnasium.
A further minute on from the main building, you will find the vast beach area, which is shingle higher up with golden sand exposed at low tide.
Inside the home, you will find it is well looked after, with a very bright and spacious interior.
Specific layout details follow:
Open plan Dining/Kitchen/Lounge area: The main entrance door takes you in to the kitchen dining area. Here there is a full size dining table and four chairs, with a central island between the table and the well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has an eye level oven and microwave, as well as all the usual conveniences. In the adjoining lounge area, you will find deep cushioned wrap around seating and a seperate tub armchair, where you can watch the 26" LCD FREEVIEW TV. Also provided here are a CD/RADIO unit with IPOD dock, a DVD player and a Sony Playstation 2 games console. The park also has a general WI-FI facility.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Up a central corridor from the open plan area, you will find a twin bedroom on your left that has a single wardrobe and dressing mirror. On the right of the corridor is a cloakroom, that has a sink and toilet. At the end of the corridor is the main bedroom, which has a double bed, lots of wardrobe space and a dressing table with mirror. Accessed from both the main bedroom and the corridor, is a Jack & Jill style ensuite, which has a large shower plus a further sink and toilet.
As we live nearby, this privately owned home is also used by our visiting friends and family. It is, therefore, furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Nearly all the holiday homes on this very smart site are in private ownership. This does mean that it does not get as hectic as some of the larger parks. The park is next to open countryside and has been awarded a 5 Star "David Bellamy" award for nature conservation. Martello Beach (Haulfryn) staff are all very friendly and they make every effort to ensure that you have a great holiday.
The location is excellent with the village shops at Pevensey Bay only a 10 minute walk away and the large Sovereign Harbour retail park with a 24HR ASDA only a 5 minute drive. Martello Beach is beach side and flat all over, so it is very safe for children, with no roads to cross. The main A259 coast road, goes right past the entrance gate, where you will find a bus stop for the number 99 coastal bus service. This bus runs between Eastbourne town centre and Hastings. It also links up with trains at Pevensey Bay and Eastbourne stations.
In the local area there are numerous attractions for both young and old. Eastbourne has a fabulous victorian pier and plenty of traditional seaside charm with all its superb regency buildings. Slightly closer is the recently built Soverign Harbour complex. Here a huge harbour complex has been built with plenty of swish modern homes, a waterside restaurant cafe/restaurant boardwalk area overlooking hundreds of moored boats and a large retail/leisure park with ASDA, BLOCKBUSTER, MATALAN, BOOTS, SPORTS DIRECT, NEXT and also a CINEWORLD multi screen cinema. Just the other side of Eastbourne is the famous Beachy Head countryside park. This huge area of outstanding natural beauty is quite spectacular.
Judging by the warm response we have had from our previous guests, it appears that the accomodation, park, location and local amentities have exceeded expectations and we look forward to the possibility of having you as guests, sometime soon.

"We have just got back from a pleasant few days at your holiday home at Pevensey Bay. We came home this morning and in spite of the bad weather, we seemed to dodge the rain every day - being pensioners, we were able to utilise the free bus service going to Brighton and Hastings. Your van is very well appointed with all the latest technology (freeview T.V. and WiFi).
