Caravan is situated on a working croft on the beautiful island of North Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland
The island is 18 miles wide by 12 long and is connected to Benbecula and South Uist by causeway. The caravan is 100m from a beach where you can pick your own cockles and mussels (see photo).
The highest hill in North Uist (Eaval) is within walking distance of the caravan, there are lots of great fishing lochs within walking distance of the caravan also.
There are miles of sandy unspoilt beaches and island life is a wonderful place to enjoy outdoor life at its very best there sandy beaches, miles of machair land with wild flowers and hill walks, birdwatching, RSPB reserve, archeology, fishing, for pictures and information try http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/northuist/northuist/
The caravan has 2 bedroom and is comfortable and clean and all linen is supplied. the cost of the caravan is £160 low season to £200 high season, the cost includes all gas and electricity required.
The plane service to North Uist is operated by Flybe and the ferry is operated by Calmac. Also note the ferry fares have been reduced by up to 60%, travel by ferry is much more affordable now.
