Main Description
Luxury 2017, 3 bedroom lodge in the heart of the "English Riviera". 1 double bedroom, with king size bed, and 2 twin rooms ensure that the lodge can sleep 6 in comfort.

It has a family bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet and a separate w/c with wash basin and toilet. The lodge has high quality fittings and fixtures throughout.

Open plan lounge/diner with large sofa, relaxing armchairs, focal fireplace, 42 inch tv, xbox/dvd player, dining table and chairs. Fully functional kitchen with wrap around work surface, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fan oven, gas hob, combination microwave and fridge/freezer.

The lounge has double patio doors which open onto a large, raised, deck area with patio furniture, bbq and extensive views of the rolling Devon countryside.

Iron, ironing board, hair dryer and vacuum cleaner are all available for your use. Travel cot and high chair available on demand.

The site is located between Totnes and Paignton, just minutes from 2 train stations, one of which is situated on the South West mainline with regular trains between Penzance, Manchester and Inverness. A number of local bus services run regularly from both stations and stop outside the holiday park entrance.

A few metres from the lodge, within the 60 acre holiday village, is an expansive, well maintained dog walking area.

The holiday village country pub, 'The Blagdon Inn' is a 5 minute walk away. The Blagdon Inn has a range of local beers and ciders, a fantastic menu which caters for all tastes, and holds regular carvery and 'all you can eat' curry evenings.

We are just a couple of miles from large, local attractions, such as, Paignton Zoo, Paignton Pier, Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown Water Park and there are numerous beaches in the close area including Paignton, Goodrington, and many more. All of these attractions are easily accessible by car or bus.

The lodge is ideally situated for day trips to Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth. Exeter and Plymouth are easily accessible by car or public transport.

All visitors will benefit from free access to the on site facilities (detailed below), complimentary welcome pack and WiFi access.

Bed linen, towels, gas and electricity are all included in the price of your stay with us and the lodge is personally cleaned in between bookings by myself and my daughter.

Customer Comments:
The Lodge is very contemporary with stylish furnishings. The spacious lounge had good views with a super 42" television. Heating set just right. A lovely kitchen with all mod cons and a welcomed pinta in the fridge for a cuppa on arrival. The high powered shower is better than our one at home. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. The gated veranda was great for our dog to roam freely and there was a great exercise field near by. Overall a 5* Lodge at affordable prices. Thank you David.

Customer Comments:
Booked late, but David was very helpful and accommodating as we only wanted a 2 night stay not the normal 3 night, when we arrived at the lodge there was tea, coffee, sugar and milk already there. The beds were made, and towels were available if needed. The lodge itself was immaculate and well looked after, the view from the lodge was brilliant, the site is clean and tidy. a short walk to the pub with excellent food and drink Will be booking again when needed

Customer Comments:
First impressions were very positive following a speedy and very helpful response to our initial enquiry from owner David. Our expectations were then more than met when we arrived to find the lodge to be spotlessly clean, well equipped and with the added bonus of an xbox to keep my boys entertained on the one morning when it rained. The location of the site is excellent and catered well for the needs of all in our family group, including Grandparents. Decent local roads mean it is easy to drive to and we found it particularly handy to have several large supermarkets nearby. There is so much to see and do in the local area that we are looking forward to a return visit next year.

Customer Comments:
Stayed hear with our four children, beautifully kept lodge & grounds, very peaceful, nice leisure complex a few minutes walk away & a lovely pub on site, food reasonable but drinks a bit on the pricey side. Within easy reach of most places Paignton, Torquay, Totnes & Dartmouth by Steam Train & Foot Ferry which was a fantastic day out, left the car most days and caught the bus using a group day saver (bus stop right outside site) Nice touch to leave towels(the biggest I've ever seen) & beds made up on arrival. Added bonus to have a dishwasher & washing machine. David the owner easy to deal with, lovely man & always comes back to you, would happily recommend his lodge & the Devon Hills Site.
