The site is family run and a happy environment in which to spend a jolly holiday. There are many N.T. properties and gardens nearby, plus many adventure parks, a sealife centre, a zoo in Newquay, historical landmarks, wildlife and a Birds of Prey centre all within easy driving distance.
The now famous, Eden Project is only about a half hour drive away. Trevose Golf and Country Club is walking distance, and the five beaches absolutely breathtaking.
Harlyn Sands has a great surf for those of you who like to take to the surf boards, plus there is a school at Harlyn which teaches watersports i.e. surfing and kayaking.
The nearest town, just four miles distant is Padstow, now made famous by Rick Stein,with his many seafood restaurant's and shops. A ferry runs constantly throughout the day from Padstow, across to Rock where again there is a lot to explore and to visit St. Enodoc's Church and walk in the footsteps of the late John Betjeman.
