Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Our privately owned van is on a peaceful, private site on the edge of town. There is no play park as yet but plenty of open space. There are wonderful views over the Forth to Fife and to Berwick law.
The van is fully equipped and bed linen is supplied- but not towels. (These can be supplied in special circumstances.)
North Berwick is the home of the famous Sea Bird Centre where you can watch the gannets on the Bass Rock-or take a boat trip to see the puffins on the other islands.
The area is equally famous for golf with 16 or more courses. There are many clean local beaches where you can play, swim, windsurf or fish. The local swimming pool and sports centre are only 10 minutes walk from the caravan.
If not so active, there are many places of interest to visit including castles and museums. See Concorde at the museum of flight- or have a flight in a micro-light!
Edinburgh is only a 30 minute drive away or you could use the regular train and bus service. North Berwick has many small individual shops and restaurants. There are two larger supermarkets on the edge of town. |
