NOW FOR THE GOOD BIT.
Arbroath town center is just a 10 minute walk from the Red Lion Holiday Park into Arbroath where there is a full range of shops & attraction.
Off site 5 minute walk across from the caravan park there is pleasure land indoor carnaval, next door to this you have a Bowling alley, Adult disco, Miniature railway, Road train providing trips in to Arbroath harbour & mini ride on cars also tennis courts, mini golf & trampolines plus lots more for all the family to enjoy.
Arbroath is an active fishing village and is famous for the "Arbroath Smokies" (smoked haddock) follow your nose to one of the many smokehouses in the harbour area.
There are lots of places to eat out as the restaurateurs in the area use all variety of fresh local produce.
There is also Water sports such as yachting, canoeing, deep sea fishing, hill walking, or ice skating.
Dundee, the 'City of Discovery', is within easy reach of Arbroath. To the west there is the Grampian mountain range where you can experience the beauty of the Highland scenery.
There is also a bus service every our into Arbroath from the main reception on site.
