It is a short drive from Thornwick Bay Holiday Village to Bridlington centre where there are lots of shops and it is a nice walk along the promenade which has recently been modernised.
There is a carp fishing lake within Thornwick Bay and at the local beach Flamborough Head there are daily fishing trips. Alternatively you can choose to take this in Bridlington or Scarborough.
The local family pubs are only a short drive from Thornwick Bay if you fancy a change but there are 2 clubs actually on the site to choose from and an activity play area for the kids to play in while the adults sit back and watch.
