Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Our caravan was brand new in 2009 and is comfortable and clean to a high standard. It is situated on Ladram Bay Caravan Park, which has its own private beach and great on-site facilities.
There is a full size gas cooker, cooker hood, microwave, toaster, water filter jug, full size fridge/freezer (freezer being the smaller part). Gas central heating, a separate gas fire, and double glazing for the odd chilly evening. Gas and electricy is free.
It is further equipped with a flat screen LCD TV, HDD box, DVD player, HD instant recording and live pause, CD player and radio (a selection of CDs and DVDs are also provided, as are a variety of novels).
For your further convenience, we also supply a hairdryer, a bathmat, toilet rolls, liquid hand soap, washing up liquid and all the bedding/linen unless you state otherwise.
We have a large 8’ decking area to the front, with superb views of Ladram Bay and the Jurassic Coast, with table, parasol, chairs and also binoculars and a small telescope. There is also decking alongside, with a lockable gate, and a ramp (caravan not suitable for wheelchairs).
Ladram Bay Caravan Park has a restaurant with a Sunday Carvery (and personally I find it delicious), a grocery shop that also carries gifts, toys, swimwear and beach shoes, the Anchor Cafe and a takeaway. There is an indoor swimming pool with outdoor loungers, crazy golf, an amusement arcade, and indoor and outdoor children’s entertainment, including Ozzie's Den. The main bar has a night-club with nightly entertainment, including a show for children in the early evening, bingo and later a show.
Ladram Bay Caravan Park has a private beach, with boats and fishing rods and tackle available to hire. There is also a kiosk where you may buy drinks, ice cream and small gifts. Ladram Bay is on the National Coastal Path, and there are some lovely walks around, though some are quite hilly.For children, Crealy Adventure Park is only a short drive away, and once you have paid your admission for one day, you receive a wrist band and may return free of charge for the next six days. |

"To Lynne & Mike, Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Ladram Bay! Your caravan is so well equipped you really don't expect it!
Weather was very nice during our stay, sunny every day. We also have a two year old so having a gate on the decking gave us peace of mind. "Dear Lynne & Mike, We have had a great time here this week in your lovely caravan. The view from the balcony is great and lovely to sit out on in the evening. Your caravan is so well equipped and extremely clean. I think this is one of the loveliest places we have stayed. The bay is great and we went out on a rowing boat, have had lovely afternoons on the beach! Had a great day at Crealy Adventure Park and went 'deep sea fishing' at Beer. "Dear Lynne & Mike, Very happy with standard of caravan, in fact it's the best we've stayed in to date. It's very clean and well presented, lovely furnishings and great homely touches. The double bed was bliss, very comfortable. Fantastic views and great decking area that we put to good use. Used most of the facilities at the Clubhouse, made the most of the beach. Did two day trips, one to Crealy and the other to Paignton Zoo which we would recommend to other families. Our children were more than happy to stay on site though. Keep up the good work Lynne & Mike, we will definately recommend you to others. Thank you!"

"Dear Lynne & Mike, Thank you for hiring us your caravan. We have had a lovely time here. Your caravan is very comfy, homely and well equipped. The decking was great and the gate gave us peace of mind whilst the kids were playing. The site is fantastic, there was plenty to do for us all. There was also everying we needed. The only problems were the parking - that weas very tight, and the showerhead did not fit into the holder. But overall a fantastic stay. Many thanks again.

"Dear Lynne and Mike, Wow, wot a week. Where to start. The caravan is superb, so comfortable and homely. It was so good to have the balcony to sit out on and enjoy the views. The weather has been so kind to us the whole week, every day has been sunny with the temperature in the low 20s. We are all going home with well deserved tans. Had great days at Ladram Bay with the children spending over six hours in the pool on one day. Great beach too, so much for them to do. We've also had a fishing trip from Beer, which was great fun, catching four mackerell within twenty minutes. In all, this is wot a holiday is all about, and hope to come back very, very soon.
