Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Our caravan was brand new in 2009 and is comfortable and clean to a high standard. It is situated on Ladram Bay Caravan Park, which has its own private beach and great on-site facilities.
There is a full size gas cooker, cooker hood, microwave, toaster, water filter jug, full size fridge/freezer (freezer being the smaller part). Gas central heating, a separate gas fire, and double glazing for the odd chilly evening. Gas and electricy is free.
It is further equipped with a flat screen LCD TV, HDD box with DVD player, HD instant recording and live pause, CD player and radio (a selection of CDs and DVDs are also provided, as are a variety of novels).
For your further convenience, we also supply a hairdryer, quality coffee, PG Tips tea, sugar, tea towels, dishcloth and washing up liquid, and toilet rolls (Andrex). We will supply all the bedding/linen unless you state otherwise, plus hand and tea towels,
but please bring your own bath/swimming towels.
We have a large 8’ decking area to the front, with superb views of Ladram Bay and the Jurassic Coast, with table, parasol, chairs and also binoculars and a small telescope. There is also decking alongside, with a lockable gate, and a ramp (caravan not suitable for wheelchairs).
Ladram Bay Caravan Park has a restaurant with a Sunday Carvery (and personally I find it delicious), a grocery shop that also carries gifts, toys, swimwear and beach shoes, the Anchor Cafe and a takeaway. There is an indoor swimming pool with outdoor loungers, crazy golf, an amusement arcade, and indoor and outdoor children’s entertainment, including Ozzie's Den. The main bar has a night-club with nightly entertainment, including a show for children in the early evening, bingo and later a show.
Ladram Bay Caravan Park has a private beach, with boats and fishing rods and tackle available to hire. There is also a kiosk where you may buy drinks, ice cream and small gifts. Ladram Bay is on the National Coastal Path, and there are some lovely walks around, though some are quite hilly. For children, Crealy Adventure Park is only a short drive away, and once you have paid your admission for one day, you receive a wrist band and may return free of charge for the next six days.

"Thank you Lynne! We had a great weeks' holiday. Ladram Bay is a great site and the Pebbles Restaurant was great, especially the Carvery! We visited Exeter, Sidmouth, Beer (great name!) and Lyme Regis, and also went on a bike ride at Haldon Forest. The caravan is fantastic, it has everything and more, we loved the telescope! The weather was also kind."

"Dear Lynne, Thank you very much for the use of your caravan. It is our first caravaning holiday and we will certainly be doing it again. Your caravan is lovely, very clean and extremely well equipped. We were only here a few days but Sandy Bay was an excellent beach and Exmouth was great for kite flying. The kids loved the Donkey Sanctuary which is free to get into and Crealy Park was great for them as well and particulary good on a rainy day! Thanks again and we may be visiting again.
