Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Please note that although we do not have smoking inside the caravan we have a small veranda which anyone staying in the caravan is more than welcome to use that to smoke.
If you have children i recommend the Empire - Cheeky Monkeys. This is an arcade and soft play area as well as selling food. Its reasonably priced. Pubs in the area generally include discos and karaoke nights.
There is a small shop accross the road from the site which sells things such as bread, milk, papers etc. On the site at the side of Towervan's which is called The Mermaid, they have a pub which is open to the public and you can take children in there. It is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach from our site. On the way to the beach there is a restaurant and chip shop.
There is a boating lake towards the beach which you can hire pedal boats to use. Also in this area is a paddling pool for children and a small crazy golf area. There is a Cafe and other small amusement features.
It is about a 10-20 minute walk into the town but this depends on how fast you walk. There is a fun fair situated near the beach at the end of the main street. There is a Lidl further down the main street where there is a new bowls club, cafe and new library. There is a skate park for skateboarders and bikes which has recently been erected. It is situated on the embankment to the left of the fun fair. |
