Main Description
Welcome to our wonderfully comfortable and spacious hideaway - with every modern convenience - our holiday home - we're sure you'll love it too!

We have spent several years visiting Aberdunant Hall staying at our daughters' caravan and at the onsite Hotel. We love the Park and surrounding area so much we recently decided that it made perfect sense to have our own holiday home on site. We love the beautiful site which changes with each season, the unique layout and have spent many days simply walking around the park watching the children play on their bikes, chatting to the many owners with their dogs, everyone is so friendly. The bar and restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced we have had many a lovely meal or simply visited the bar sitting out on the terrace and marvelling at the mountain view.

From the moment you turn into the Park passing the Hansel & Gretel Cottage (as my wife calls it) and meander up the woodland drive a sense of true relaxation and absolute wonder overcomes you. Every time we visit we are greeted by an array of colours depending on the season and wildlife scampering all around.

The layout is not what you'd expect for a caravan park, there's no uniformed rows with regulated spacing in between, there's a real individuality to each caravan and it's surrounding space and it's evident that each owner takes great pride in their individual plot.

The Park is set in 300 acres of woodland with babbling streams, stunning waterfalls and woodland nature trails. There are numerous greens and play areas around the park and you'll often bump into dog walkers heading for the woodland areas to let their four legged family members have a rum.

I guess I'd better tell you about the caravan!

Outside...
You'll find parking for 3 cars around the van, there is a ramp providing access onto the spacious fully enclosed deck (my wife uses the ramp for her mobility scooter) alternatively there are steps to access the deck if you prefer. The deck is very spacious (30' x 10') we have furnished it with Rattan Furniture and a barbeque so you can enjoy the outside space as much as indoors, it's a real sun trap with a small babbling brook running alongside, you'll also find a storage bench just outside the door which is great for boots etc.

Inside...
The caravan is fully double glazed and central heated so always guaranteed to be warm and cosy whatever the weather! You enter into the open plan spacious dining, kitchen, living area which is very light and airy.

The kitchen is very well appointed with a full size gas hob (with extractor fan), full size gas oven with separate grill, full size fridge and full size freezer. You'll also find a microwave and slow cooker along with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and of course glasses for your convenience.

There is a free standing dining table with 4 chairs.

The comfortable living area has a corner 5 seat bed settee with 2 free standing comfortable armchairs, a 40" TV/ DVD with USB recording facility.

The bathroom has a huge shower with integral seats which we have found very powerful.

The twin bedroom has a wardrobe and drawers and additional over bed storage cupboards.

The master en-suite bedroom has a King Size bed with fitted wardrobes & drawers and the very convenient en-suite a toilet and sink.

Whilst it is officially a 6 berth caravan we believe for the benefit of your comfort that a maximum of 4 adults is more practical.


Out and About…

You will find leading from the park a number of scenic strolls ranging from gentle to more challenging hill walks.

Beyond the Park and within a short drive are:-

Portmeirion – just 3 miles south - the famous private resort built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 – 1976 – a little piece of Italian Architecture right here in North Wales also featured in the hit 60’s series ‘The Prisoner’!

Porthmadog - just 3 miles to the west of the park - a bustling harbour town with many of the attractions you would expect including the start of the Ffestiniog & highland railways and of course a large supermarket!

Just 2 miles west of Porthmadog you will find Black Rock Sands (in Morfa Bychan) – 4 miles of uninterrupted golden sands with a wide range of water activities, amazing sunsets, look out to sea and then turn around to see the wonder of the mountains including the often snow-capped mount Snowdon.

Beddgelert and the Mountain – just 3 miles east of the park is the famous walking village of Beddgelert with its quaint tea shops, scenic river walks and pubs and restaurants.

Mount Snowdon standing at 3,560 feet is only 7 miles to the North of the park for you serious hill walkers – on a clear day you can see Scotland, England and Ireland – but don'’t worry – you can always take the train to the summit!

We have spent the past 3 yrs on this site , first time in this van , it is a lovely home from home caravan , although it rained and poured down all week we loved our week of peace and quiet, this is a really nice van in a beautiful part of north wales , everything you need is catered for in this van , lovely van , really nice owners , be booking for next year ,

This caravan is really really nice & modern.I also loved the king size bed.I would defiantly recommend this caravan & would book again.The woodland setting is really scienic so different to normal caravan parks. The decking area is relaxing on a sunny day with cushioned seating provided.There is also a charcoal bbq available to use I Really enjoyed the week as did my husband and small yorkies

Not stayed in a park like this before , away from the seaside so we gave it a go and really enjoyed ourselves, well pleased with the caravan, nice, clean and tidy,good location in the park, nice and quiet and plenty of walks for our dog, nice and easy to get to places of interest by car, no shop on the park so make sure you have what you need, then you can stock up from the shop in Tremadog the pubs in this village offer good fare, hoping to book again next year
