Caravan Park + Local Area Information
|
Maribou Holiday Park is a quiet, family run site and is sited at St Merryn, just 4 miles from the fishing port of Padstow - also renowned for the Rick Steins restaurants. The holiday park is ideally located to some of Cornwall's finest beaches. St Merryn is known locally as 7 bays in 7 days, all are just a 5 minute drive from Maribou Holiday Park.
The towns of Newquay and Wadebridge are both a short driving distance away and are conveniently situated near to the A39 making trips to the Eden Project, Crealy Adventure Park and other major attractions that Cornwall has to offer easily accessible.
The local scenic coastline offers lots of activities and interest, such as surfing, sailing, fishing, horse riding and walking. There is a golf course at Trevose and not forgetting the breathtaking cycle ride down the Camel Trail.
If you prefer just lazing around then relax on the golden sandy beaches, enjoy a meal at the many restaurants or have a drink in the clubhouse.
Maribou Holiday Park is a dog friendly site with a dog walking field and dogs are allowed on most of the beaches. If you are looking for all action/flashy lights/kids clubs etc this is not the site for you. Bed linen and towels are NOT provided, gas and electric are included in the price.
