Natureland Seal Sanctuary<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Natureland Seal Sanctuary<\/strong><\/a> is known worldwide for rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured seal pups along the Lincolnshire coast. Visitors are able to see every step in the animal\u2019s rehabilitation process and hear about how the rescue process works. Alongside seeing seals, visitors can visit the popular tropical butterfly exhibit as well as penguins, meerkats, alpacas and lots more!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Skegness Beach<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Skegness\u2019s award-winning beach is home to numerous activities including donkey rides and the Fairy Dell paddling pool. Other activities you can indulge in include kayaking\/canoeing, crazy golf\/putting, sailing, swimming\/bathing and surfing. Plenty of car parks and a railway station are within easy walking distance so it\u2019s easy to access and bring a picnic along with you. Dogs are not allowed between 1st May to 30th September and must be kept on leads in all adjacent areas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, Gibraltar Rd, Skegness PE24 4SU
Drive south from the centre of Skegness and the resort soon gives way to a National Nature Reserve<\/strong><\/a> made up of two parallel ridges of sand dunes. The reserve is covered in walking trails and has hides and artificial lakes which allow visitors a closer look at the range of unique birds which call the reserve their home. A unique day out for the whole family!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fantasy Island<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fantasy Island is a family amusement park in Ingoldmells which is home to exhilarating rides and rollercoasters. There\u2019s something for everyone with plenty of adrenaline-pumping rides and family-friendly attractions. The little ones will be spoilt for choice with attractions including, rides, a soft play area and live character shows during the high season. Fantasy Island<\/strong><\/a> is actually home to Europe\u2019s largest seven-day market, where you can indulge in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bars across the park as you take a well-earned break.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Skegness Pier<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pleasure piers are a must-visit of many seaside resorts, and the pier in Skegness<\/strong><\/a> has been here since 1881. You can along the pier and stare out at the North Sea and survey the massive sandy carpet of Skegness Beach. Visitors to the pier can expect a soft play area, trampolines for children and an amusement arcade where kids can earn tickets for prizes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Botton\u2019s Pleasure Beach<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Central to Skegness Beach between the Pier and the Clock Tower Esplanade, Pleasure Beach<\/strong><\/a> is a fairground-style attraction for children, teenagers and adults. There are amusement arcades, carousels and dodgems plus a giant wheel with 18 gondolas, a rocking pirate boat, a safari train, an adventure golf course and a ten-pin bowling alley! For those looking for more of a thrill, older children and adults can take a ride on the dizzying Freakout ride. Alongside all of this, the Pleasure Beach has classic fairground food such as doughnuts, candyfloss, ice cream and hot dogs to indulge in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Skegness Model Village<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A more unique attraction is the Skegness Model Village.  Unlike many model villages, this one doesn\u2019t aim to build replicas of existing landmarks, and instead is an idealised English village, with shops, houses, a church, hundreds of little figures and a fairground that has some moving rides. Part of the fun of visiting the model village is reading the witty business names and shop signs. We\u2019d recommend taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the beach and schedule in your visit!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ingoldmells South Beach<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

PE25 1JZ
Ingoldmells South is a sandy beach popular for swimming and walking. Unlike other beaches in the area, dogs are allowed on part of the beach all year round – check signage on arrival to confirm which areas you can take your furry friend on.  A large multi-story car park is about 50 metres from the main entrance of the beach and plenty of facilities including shops, pubs and places to eat as well as a bowling alley are along this street. Public toilets are located next to the beach entrance and behind the beach, there is a promenade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Skegness Aquarium<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tower Esplanade, Skegness PE25 3HH
On days when the weather isn\u2019t as you\u2019d hope, why not pass an enjoyable and educational couple of hours at Skegness Aquarium<\/strong><\/a>. The attraction has a loose pirate theme, with staff dressed up like buccaneers and a quiz trail to keep minds engaged. One of the most popular attractions is \u201cDavy Jones\u2019 Locker\u201d, an underwater tunnel with sharks and rays swimming above. In between the tanks, there are plenty of smartly designed interactive stations including an interactive Sandpit where chldren can mould the landscape, creating mountains, rivers and seas with the help of an overhead projection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mablethorpe Miniature Railway<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All aboard! Your kids will love a ride on the Mablethorpe Miniature Railway! The simple circuit, with its Thomas & Friends-themed engines, first opened to the public in 1968. The railway is a simple circuit in the public park behind the sea wall, running through the tunnel\/shed as it goes. A must visit if you\u2019re travelling with any train fanatics!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Get ready for non-stop fun at this Total Wipeout-style aqua park! If you don\u2019t mind getting wet and you have a love for heights then you\u2019ll love the Lincolnshire Aqua Park<\/strong><\/a>, based at our Grange Leisure Park. As part of the giant inflatable obstacle course, there are eight different inflatable obstacles for you to try. There\u2019s also water slides \u2018King of The Mountain\u2019 and the Cyclone to try out plus lots of other great features. Visitors should come prepared to get wet!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A ten-minute walk from Ingoldmells beach, Hardy\u2019s Animal Farm is a safe place for children to meet animals and find out how a modern farm works. Hardy\u2019s Animal Farm<\/strong><\/a> can be found on seven acres of glorious countryside. It offers visitors the chance to feed a wide range of animals including newborns at the farm in spring and summer. The farm also has an indoor play area and a large outdoor playground for children. On sunny days there are also tractor rides for some good old-fashioned fun.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
