The property

Badgers Retreat is located on a quiet family run holiday park and as such as private owners we have to meet high standards and deliver a good service to our guests. A welcome pack will be provided, so you can immediately unwind and relax over a nice refreshing drink as soon as you arrive.

The kitchen is well equipped and has full size oven with cooker hood.

Please see floor plan for the lay out of the bedrooms, shower room with toilet and second toilet with hand basin.

Electricity and Gas are included in the price. The first thing that you will notice on entering is the magnificent views from the lounge with its full size double glazed windows and uninterrupted views of the sea.

Three miles of golden sands are in walking distance over the sand dunes into Perranporth or via a pathway leading directly down to the famous beach where Seaside Rescue is filmed.

Or you may wish to stroll over to the sand dues directly in front of the caravan and watch as the surfers skilfully navigating the crisp white surf, why not take a picnic and just sit and relax?

However please note that this is a conservation area for wild life and fauna so please dispose of your rubbish responsibly. Although the site is adjacent to a large holiday park and is only a short walk to the entertainment complex, shops and takeaway this does not disturb the relaxing ambiance of Badgers Retreat.

We welcome couples and families but group same sex bookings can not be accepted due to site rules.

You will have your own parking space beside the caravan and own decked area which affords magnificent sun set and sea views. We love pets so from May 2018 we will accept pets in Badgers Retreat.

We only allow one dog, this is for the comfort and welfare of the dog.

Pets must be added at time of booking.

Pets must be supervised at all times.

Beds can be made up ready for your arrival.

Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
