“Just came back from a week stay at this lovely caravan.”

When we arrived we noticed that the caravan was clean and tidy, one of the cleanest I've stayed at! The owner was lovely, good communication and approachable. There were cleaning products and hand wash, washing up liquid and tea bags for use to use,. All good quality. There was also a folder with handy information about the locao area and walks to do which we liked. Instructions to access the site and caravan were clear and easy to follow. “Four day stay.”

Nice caravan, nice site. Roomy with modern facilities. In a heatwave a fan would have been a useful bonus. Everything in the caravan worked as expected. Site has caravans and a dog walk, no other facilities. Can't see why the booking fee and the cleaning fee are listed as separate items when there is no option but to pay up as part of the booking process.

This caravan is an amazing little place to stay. It is very clean and has everything you could possibly need and more! We even ended up playing badminton and the board games (which was supplied) Into the evenings. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning. Thank you to our amazing host. “Very luxurious caravan, with all the home comforts for a relaxing stay, the best we have stayed in to date!”

The owners were good to deal with and helpful. The site has no entertainment or pool, which wasn’t an ordeal. The site is costal, but it is a good one hour hike from the site, and is picturesque. Bude has a great swimming pool, that has a slide and wave maker, which is about 5 min drive from the site.

“Just returned from a week away, the caravan was amazing clean, well equipped, everything you needed and so comfortable and spacious, the surroundings were beautiful and the site was immaculate.”

Highly recommend Bude canal for paddle boarding and kayaking, the Olive Tree served wonderful fish and chips, which is great for sitting outside and watching people row boats on the canal! Would definitely return, Louise (the owner) was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

“Beautiful caravan, very clean and up to date,everything that you could need included.”

I especially liked the dishwasher ! Pentire site was lovely,clean and mostly quiet, very central to travel to other areas. Lovely beaches 5/10 minutes away and a pub 5 minutes walk from the site. Owner was lovely and very helpful , highly recommended.

“We have just returned from Louise's caravan after a weeks stay, the caravan is immaculate and has everything you need for your stay.”

It is set in a very convenient part of the park within easy walking distance to the village for shops and pubs where you can enjoy a meal. We like the New Inn pub. Everybody was so friendly and the reception at the park are very helpful. The caravan is very comfortable it's like home from home. So thank you Louise.

“What a treat.”

So comfortable, warm, clean . Everything you have at home is here for you . I would give more stars if possible. We only had a 4 night stay to end a 3 week tour of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly . Would highly recommend the New Inn , Kirklington , great food and service. And the cafe at Sandymouth for a cooked breakfast ( 10am) . Visited Hartland Abbey and Gardens ( 10*s) Hartland Quay and a great walk to Spekes Mill Waterfall . Bude is a lovely town , all the supermarkets you need. Lovely artisan bakers etc . Gift shops along the canal side. The Castle museum (free entry) is brilliant for local history. Widemouth Bay (1st car Park) and a clifftop walk back to Compass Point Tower over looking Bude and back ( 3 hour walk ) . While staying please remember to treat everything with respect and leave it as you found it for other visitors to enjoy. Because next time I'm in Cornwall, this is where I'm staying. Thank you to the owners for letting others stay.

“Just want to say what a lovely caravan and caravan site!”

Me, my husband and our 5 year old daughter had never been to Cornwall, we were attracted to Bude and had a look at other caravan sites around the area. This one caught our eye as the caravan looked lovely on the photos and the caravan site did not have a noisy entertainment complex on it. It was only located in Kilkhampton which was a 5 min drive away from Bude. We wanted a calm week away and that's exactly what we got. Very clean caravan with plenty of space, lovely personal touch by the owners with their board games and DVDs, my daughter very much used the Jenga game. The site also had a small park and plenty of space to play with a football. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous, sandy mouth beach only few mins away and lovely when it's low tide, we went to Bude beach also which was beautiful. Living in the Midlands we don't get to see the beach unless we travel, the 4.5 hour drive was definitely worth it. Hawkers hut is definitely worth a visit if you're not scared of heights, stunning views. Overall fantastic holiday, owners are very easy to get hold of and respond quickly to emails. Would highly recommend staying here!

“The caravan is lovely with everything you could need for a comfortable holiday and nothing is too much trouble for Simon and Louise who are the owners.”

When we arrived we were delighted to find such a spacious and exceptionally clean and sparkling space. There was plenty of storage so that within a few minutes we had unpacked and put everything away. The weather was a bit iffy but we were cosy with a fire or central heating to keep us warm . The site is really well cared for and the staff in reception are friendly and helpful. We walked to the village of kilkhampton through the site where there are shops and two pubs which offer food . Tip . It’s worth googling ‘The London Inn ‘ or ‘The New Inn ‘ and booking a table as they get very busy especially if you would like Sunday lunch . The caravan is a short drive from a variety of beaches and beautiful Bude which is a lovely unspoiled holiday resort with plenty of parking and a stunning beach . All in all the perfect place for a restful holiday . We enjoyed it very much .

It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The xtra touches of games, dvds and information made it more homely. The site was lovely very clean neat and tidy. We walked from the site to the local pub in 15 minutes and had a lovely meal. Would highly recommend this accommodation only 10 minutes drive from Bude.

It was more like a home from home. The owners 'little touches' really make for an easy and stress free break. The caravan was welcoming from the moment we opened the door, the fresh smell, reassured the caravan was clean and the added extras were so thoughtful. I would highly recommend this caravan and the owners who, communicated extremely well from our first enquiry all the way through and even after our stay. Dont take my word for it...book, you wont be disappointed!

The property

Good size holiday home 43ft x 13 Decking to the front and side of this holiday home, access through patio doors in lounge or entrance door. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, dressing table and an en-suite bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom has two single beds with the main bathroom to the side of it. The sofa bed within the main living area provides additional sleeping space (as a double bed). This holiday home has double glazing through out. TV (free View), DVD player with some DVD's provided, selection of games provided in stool, fire, FGCH, free wifi, 1 parking space next to holiday home, inter-grated bluetooth speaker system, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer, free standing furniture, u-shaped kitchen, breakfast bar, all kitchen utensils and pots and pans provided. Gas and electric are included. Open 12 months of the year, quiet location, children's play area. NO DOGS, NO SMOKING, NO SAME SEX GROUPS. Bude is a fabulous coastal town that once visited you will want to come back to time and time again. Bude has something for everyone, great beaches for relaxing, and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide and cafes to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the North Cornwall coastal path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and Heritage Centre at Bude Castle. It also has a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, restaurants and excellent Information Centre. Within a short drive are the remains of a huge iron age hill fort at Warbstow Bury, from where panoramic views can be seen. For days out, take the coast road north to see the lonely lighthouse above the sea at Hartland Point or walk or ride a donkey down the steep and cobbled village street (no cars allowed) of beautiful Clovelly to the harbour and the pub far below. Follow the coast in the other direction and there's the little cove of Crackington Haven, Boscastle, King Arthur's castle at Tintagel, Doc Martin's Port Wenn at Port Isaac and yet more great surfing beaches at Polzeath.
