This is probably our tenth or eleventh time at merles caravan as we have been so welcome over the years it’s very good for all our needs close to beach great views pet friendly decking is ideal for relaxing in nice weather or just out for coffee we found this gem of a place a few years ago and have never gone elsewhere it has everything you need and a marvellous owner who will help you if there’s anything you need or advise on my daughter particularly likes the jacuzzi bath we hope to be back as long as it’s available thanks Merle

Very homely feel with beautiful sea views . Ramp & decking which was very useful for my boy who is wheelchair user …. Gorjis jacuzzi bath aswell . That was the icing on the cake … came home feeling refreshed .

“The caravan is absolutely perfect, had everything we needed for myself and my girls.”

They loved being close to the beach and being able to watch the sun from the decking. I was able to save money cooking as the caravan has everything you need to cook a nice meal, and the beds are very comfortable and the whole caravan is cosy and warm. The owners leave personal touches that just gave the stay that little bit extra. I have also been holidaying with the owner for over 16 years and wouldn’t return to anybody else. Perfect family caravan.

The caravan is very homely and just right beside the beach, making it an ideal location for us beach lovers! Honestly cannot fault this caravan. She thinks of everything that you could possibly need. The caravan is stunning, cleanliness is 100% It’s like home from home. We all went as a family and had the most amazing time, the kids had a ball and enjoyed their time at the caravan which is situated just at the beach. You can sit out on the decking and watch the amazing sunset and chill. We love going to merles caravan and making the most memorable memories. Merle is such a lovely woman and nothing is too much for her to fulfil your needs.

Its stunning with everything you could possibly need for a relaxed fun get away. The van is always immaculate and Merle and Gill always make you feel welcome with fresh flowers little welcome cards and treats .The location is perfect the sunsets are amazing I just wouldn't want to stay anywhere else our forever holiday home for as long as we can get it .and star loves it too .

“We absolutely love coming to this accommodation it is always immaculate there is everything you could need there .”

The location is perfect for us right at the beach away from the noise of the clubs. The dog loves that she gets the freedom being outside on the veranda and we don't need to worry about her getting out. This is our favourite and that's why we come back twice a year at least.The owner is absolutely lovely we wouldn't stay anywhere else .

Located next to the beach it was just perfect and our dog enjoyed early morning lead free walks/runs. Merle let us know exactly what we needed to do and couldn't be anymore helpful. We would totally recommend and hope to return.

The owners customer service is 5??, the location is amazing , the views are incredible, the wrap around windows with double doors that open up on to the wrap around porch are great for sitting out & admiring your surroundings, also great if you have a dog,you can let your dog sit outside in the porch.Inside there’s a jacuzzi bath, furnishings in the bathroom are gorgeous, the main bedroom has plenty of wardrobe space & beds are very fresh & comfy & has a spotless en-suite with a very powerful shower, I would highly recommend this caravan ????

“Merles caravan was cosy, welcoming and warm.”

Absolutely spotless when we arrived and merle was kind enough to leave a few treats, lights and fire on for us to arrive to! The beds were really comfy, I actually slept better than I do at home, and the water pressure was better than at home too, shower was amazing - didn't want to get out ???? We appreciated the bath due to having 2 children with sensory issues that cannot be showered, and the enclosed patio kept my 3 year old safe. Dishwasher was a god send! The caravan is a stones throw from the beach, and a short walk from the main site amenities but far enough away that it's nice and quiet. The only constructive criticism I can give is that the signal for the WiFi wasnt great- this is potentially just bad luck for us, it was only an issue because one of the kids is autistic and requires "puffin rock" to be on TV at all times ???? Really great caravan, we will most definitely return!

It has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible . Our dog loved sitting on the decking watching the world go by while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine or a cup of Coffee watching the stunning sunsets over Arran … Our boys loved having WiFi and Netflix. What a treat to relax in our jacuzzi bath after a hard day having fun. We have already booked for 2024. Highly Recommend
