“My family and I spent a lovely Monday to Friday at this caravan.”
We travelled with four children under nine but also two older children too. On arrival at the caravan it was lovely and clean with fresh bedding on every bed. I had to contact the owners a couple of times but it was only really trivial things which were sorted straight away. The three bedrooms and living room were actually quite spacious compared to some of the caravans I have booked. You can park your car at the side of the van but to be honest the parking bays are literally so close it's not a problem. There is a veranda off the side of the caravan, which catches the sunshine and both my daughter and I sat there just taking in the sunshine and the calm and quiet. a lovely way to recharge your batteries. There is everything needed in the kitchen. I would however recommend at least one larger cooking pan but we managed. The bathroom is a good size too and the shower pretty good.
The park itself is well maintained and the staff are really helpful. It is a pretty large park with a Morrisons at the entrance to the park and a cash machine. Bus stops are just outside the entrance too. There are a couple of cut throws to save taking the car, the kidz found them! If I had any recommendations for the park itself, it would be to sign post the site better and have a couple of play areas too for the children. The caravan itself was quite basic with virtually everything a family needs. On our stay there did not seem to be a lot of families on the site and I did feel that the site catered for an older more slow paced holiday maker. Having said that it did not stop us from having a good time. This is the third year I have booked through this site and although this caravan was not a brand new model it was never the less lovely. I can honestly recommend it I'm hoping to book later in the year for my husband and myself, for a weekend get away. I think that he will really enjoy it there as we are both in our sixties.
Its an excellent spring board for adventures !
