“What a beautiful part of the world, The 'Time Out' caravan is the perfect base for day trips to all the local coastal villages and of course Whitby town, all within a ten mile radius.”
You do need good legs for some of the inclines from the car parks to the beaches but it's well worth it. And once back at the caravan you can relax in the quiet countryside setting, with short walks along the lanes with the dog into the town. It is in a farm type setting so the one day of rest I had at the van all day, the tractor is about, and a few activities in the barn sawing abd loading logs, the site owners have three dogs of there own and the Black Labrador is sometimes running free on ...
You do need good legs for some of the inclines from the car parks to the beaches but it's well worth it. And once back at the caravan you can relax in the quiet countryside setting, with short walks along the lanes with the dog into the town. It is in a farm type setting so the one day of rest I had at the van all day, the tractor is about, and a few activities in the barn sawing abd loading logs, the site owners have three dogs of there own and the Black Labrador is sometimes running free on site, abd the owners children are around at the weekend and after school, playing quite close to the caravan, so if you have your own dog this can be a tiny bit of a nuisance but these occurrences were minimal and short lived. All in all a wonderful setting, two pubs in Hinderwell where the caravan is (not sure why it's listed as Saltburn by the sea because that's 10 mile away!) The Badgers Dog does an exceptional Sunday lunch, and the Brown Cow was brilliant for proper Yorkshire banter. If you meet Danny in there in the afternoons ask him about his lucky rock.
