    “There was a problem with the boiler in The Crest.”

    I text Andy and he got back to me straight away. He sorted out The Seashore which was just next door. Everything was amazing from first getting into the accommodation to leaving. Perfect for the dogs too. Andy was so easy to talk to. I wouldn't have hesitated if there were any more problems to contact him, but there wasn't. Thank you to you both for a lovely stay. Babs, Johnny, Mavis, Henry and Foxy.

The property

This caravan is located next door to Primrose Valley Holiday Park and is not part of the Haven site which means you cannot obtain passes to the site although you can use all of the facilities except the swimming, arcade and main show bars.

The Crest caravan is located next to the slope to the award winning Filey Beach and adjacent to a large field.

The lounge, kitchen and bedrooms have views out to sea and Bempton Cliffs.

The Crest caravan is maintained by a house keeping team ensuring high standards of cleanliness. The master bedroom has a king size bed, en-suite toilet, tv and is very spacious with plenty of space around the bed The 2nd bedroom has twin beds with wardrobe. The kitchen has all the mod cons but most importantly a view of the sea. The dining area is adjoining the kitchen The lounge area has 2 large seating areas and an armchair with coffee table, tv, dvd with lots of movies to watch. In the cupboards are games and also a shared beach activity lock up with outside games and foldable chairs. The balcony is large with furniture and is blessed with the sun shining on it all day. The crest has its own parking bay next to the caravan. Double doors leading to large balcony which is in the sun all day, WIFI

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
