“Very happy with our 3 night stay.”
Only a few little things for me that I was unsure of.
When I arrived at 3.30pm I went straight to the accommodation. I was unsure if I should have informed the reception of the site.
On arrival at 3.30pm there was a very warm heat from the washing machine tumble dryer. In it was all the towels that appeared to be drying but on opening, the towels and bath mat were steaming hot, unable to touch them they were so hot. I tried to look how the dryer worked to put it on and 2hrs later still steaming & soaking. I hung them outside to try and dry them. Lucky we had towels ourselves for the beach tgat we brought. There were no instruction for the drier washer.
Down the back of the double bed there were pieces of glass, may have been a bulb that broke at some point. I left them there. I saw it when putting on the sheets.
Question, should the duvet covers etc be put on the beds and duvet before arriving or is it the guests job to do so?
There were biscuits and cereal in the kitchen cupboard - I left them there when I left but surely they should have cupboards cleared out each turnover. I certainly removed all my foods.
I left all sheets piled up as I did not see a LAUNDRY BAG OR BASKET to put them in as suggested.
No toilet paper on arrival but I bought some.
Saying all that it was a beautiful space and enjoyed our stay.
Also the restaurant for high tea was superb on Sunday evening. The staff were fab and very engaging a rare thing these days
Thank for for your feedback. Apologies for towels being in the tumble drier, that has been an oversight. We provide one hand towel and larger towel per guest. But it would be helpful to let guests know that they should provide their own beach towels. Also, we will update guest information regarding making up beds on arrival. I will pass over the information to staff that do changeover. For future reference, we provide laundry bags for used bed linen. We hope this will not deter any future stays. Charlotte
