    “This caravan is the best one we have ever stayed in on the holiday village and we have stayed in a few.”

    It is positioned right on the fishing lake, this pleased my husband, he caught a 20lb carp & a ghost carp, plus smaller fish. The caravan was spotless, very homely with every thing you needed, Tracey is very helpful. I'm actually gutted as I text Tracey when we got home about booking for next year but the week we wanted was already booked. I'm struggling to find one as good as Tracey's on the lake. Thank you so much Tracey. Xx

The property

The caravan is double glazed with full mains gas central heating throughout, it has 3 bedrooms and private parking right outside the caravan. Large Master Bedroom with en-suite that has plenty of storage space and benefits from being able to accommodate a travel cot comfortably.

USB socket are also available. Two twin bedrooms that offer the flexibility of being re-arranged to convert to double beds and a separate double pull out sofa bed is available in the lounge. The lounge has a large flat screen Smart TV and DVD player, and USB sockets are available for your convenience. The kitchen is well equipped and has a family sized integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher, Dining room table and chairs. All duvets and pillows are provided (2 x Doubles 4 x Singles + pillows) you will need to provide your own linen (sheets, duvet covers etc) or you can arrange to hire these from Haven. The caravan has a large wrap-around Decking area which is south facing.

Patio furniture with outside lighting for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors well into the late evening.

The gate on the decking is lockable for the safety of smaller children.

The situation of the caravan is ideal for those who like to fish, or just relax watching the wildlife and enjoying the stunning view. Entertainment passes are NOT included but are available to purchase at reception during your stay. Lots to do on site from fishing on your doorstep (Big Carp) to wall climbing, you can hire a family bike to explore the site, no hills!! **New for 2016 Haven has upgraded the outdoor swimming pool and surrounding area** Local Area Burnham-on-Sea is a relaxing seaside resort within easy reach of interesting places to visit such as Weston Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge and Wells & Exeter Cathedrals.

It has supermarkets within easy reach Tesco,Lidl & Asda,also a variety of cafes and pubs (Wetherspoons) are also no more than a 10 minute walk from the Holiday Village.

The town of Burnham- on-sea is on the doorstep just 10 minute stroll from the site.

Brean with its leisure park is a short drive or bus away.

Weston- Super - Mare approx 20 minutes by car and well worth a visit.

Bookings All of our available dates are provided.

However, if you are looking for a longer/ shorter break then please do contact us.

We require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure all bookings.

The balance is to be paid no later than 28 days prior to your stay.

A £100 security deposit is also required.

This will be refunded to you within 7 days of your departure, providing no breakages or damage is found, although I am sure you will treat the home with the care and respect we do.

In the event of a cancellation only the security deposit will be refundable. Check-in time: 14.00pm / / Check-out time: 10.00am Fishing on the lake will require a full Environment Agency (non- migratory trout and coarse licence) Please note- we provide quilts and pillows only.

You will need to bring your own linen and towels.

Also prices are for the hire of our holiday home and its facilities only.

About the location

No village

Chatsworth 1 mile; Bakewell 5 miles.

The pretty village of Baslow lies at the north end of stately Chatsworth House - home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The village has many unusual and picturesque features including a triple-arched river bridge guarded by a toll house whose doorway is only 3 1/2 feet high! Baslow offers a range of village amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. Close by is Bakewell, the capital of the Peak District, and home of the famous Bakewell pudding (definitely not tart!), still made locally to an old and secret recipe. Bakewell is at the scenic heart of the Peak District, and with Alton Towers also within easy touring distance, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy.
