The property

This is a lovely, 6-berth, well presented and well equipped, dog friendly, double glazed and centrally heated 2-bedroom caravan.

Its location, just south of the historic market town of Narberth, is an ideal base from which to explore Saundersfoot, Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast, National Park and countryside.

The caravan has one double and one twin bedroom, both with wardrobes and storage.

A pull out double bed in the lounge takes the maximum occupancy to six. Bedlinen and towels are included. A shower room has a toilet, large basin and roomy shower cubicle.

The open plan living area includes a kitchenette with: gas hob, oven and grill; sink with mixer taps and drainer; kettle; toaster; microwave and fridge.

It comes with a good selection of cutlery, crockery, cooking pans, utensils and baking trays including corkscrews and cafetiere. The lounge area has a large built-in corner sofa, coffee table, and free standing dining table and chairs.

The storage units contain a small selection of books, local maps and tourist information, games for use by guests A flat screen TV is provided together with a DVD player.

Private WiFi is included and available via a router served by a mobile signal.

The van has gas fired central heating with radiators, most thermostatically controlled, in all rooms and a timer on the boiler so that it can be set to your liking.

There is also a built in coal effect electric fire in the lounge.

To the side of the van is a private, decked area which is ideal for relaxing, and is also appreciated by dog owners owing to it being fenced and gated!

The outside store has comfortable outdoor chairs and a charcoal BBQ which guests are welcome to use.

There is an outside tap for rinsing off your dogs after a muddy or sandy walk.

Car parking for one car is at the front of the van, with larger or second vehicles expected to park in the site’s ample car park by the main entrance to the site. Allensbank Holiday Park is a lovely, small, family owned park with the owner living on-site.

Most of the vans are owner occupied.

The site’s elevated position gives stunning views of the landscape and sunsets!

There is a well-equipped children’s play area opposite the caravan and, in the grounds – the site of the former Narberth workhouse – is a simple games room for table tennis, pool and darts.

A small, unsupervised, but covered and heated swimming pool is available (via a simple booking system) when open between Mid-May and September.

Subject to opening and availability these are available to guests at no extra charge.

A coin-operated laundrette is also available on-site. The holiday park is approximately 1 mile south of Narberth with its many independent retailers, eateries, boutiques and local services.

The beautiful beaches at Wiseman’s Bridge, Saundersfoot, and Amroth are approximately 6 miles away with Tenby’s famous St Catherine’s Fort and Island, as well as its lovely harbour, town and beaches, being less than 10 miles way.

Queen's Hall, Narberth's leading cultural and arts venue hosts a variety of concerts, plays and events, which can be enjoyed throughout the year. Pembrokeshire is home to the UK's only coastal National Park, and the whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, visit secluded sandy beaches, such as the acclaimed Barafundle Bay for a quiet relaxing day, or take in an invigorating walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path. Enjoy a boat trip to Caldey Island and its monastery, or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins. For the most adventurous, extreme watersports await, whilst golfers can take the challenge of Tenby's famous links course. Canaston Woods and the Landsker Trail is nearby with many walking routes.
