Purpose of the role

UKcaravans4hire is looking to hire a Head of Owner Recruitment to identify, convert, recruit & retain new holiday home owners to the platform; growing the portfolio of properties at pace by developing an owner value proposition aimed at providing ‘best in class’ bookings, revenues & technology.

 

Core Accountabilities

  • Ownership & delivery of the full holiday home owner recruitment processes, from lead generation through to online sign-up & retention
  • Lead generation of new owner leads through an optimised multi-channel online & offline marketing approach, including attending in-person industry events
  • Recruit, retain and develop a high performing, target driven team
  • Develop the UKcaravans4hire brand strength to become the first choice for owners of static caravans
  • Championing the owner – utilising data, profiling and segmentation and other research methodologies to ensure deep understanding of our holiday home owners.
  • Influencing long-term goal development by forming an understanding that will enable the creation/matching of value propositions incorporating specific motivational factors to letting a holiday home.
  • In partnership with key stakeholders, conduct market research and implement new ideas to continue to innovate within the Owner Recruitment space and report back to the business on key developments within the market
  • Budgeting & forecasting of owner recruitment activity, including regular performance updates to the senior management team
  • Create and engage with a clearly defined and communicated implementation plan to stakeholders with regular project team and senior management team progress reviews
  • Support the smooth onboarding and handover to other areas of the business, as well collaborate with all departments to develop a best-in-class proposition to holiday home owners.

Essential Experience

  • At least 5 years of recruitment, franchise or relevant sales related experience ideally from a leisure travel, holiday park or caravan sales background
  • Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience of introducing new products/services/concepts in a B2B2C environment
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Territory planning & mapping
  • Experience in generating leads through a variety of online and offline channels, including using innovative lead generation techniques
  • Experience of budgeting & forecasting
  • Experience in building, developing & retaining a high-performance team
  • Eye for detail and happy to roll your sleeves up, but also lift and elevate to provide direction.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in the UK travel sector and/or detailed knowledge of UK holiday park industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
