The property

Our well-designed family caravan at Presthaven is fully set up to feel like a proper home-from-home, if you are travelling with kids or dogs, we’ve tried to include all the practical bits and pieces to make your stay straightforward and relaxing, whatever the weather.

The Setup & Bedrooms: The caravan is a full-sized 37ft x 12ft unit that comfortably sleeps up to 8 people, it is fully double glazed and has gas central heating in every room to keep things warm and comfortable.

Main Bedroom: A larger-than-average double bedroom with plenty of space.

Double Room or Twin Room: Normally set up as a double bed with a comfy mattress topper, this room can be made up to two standard single beds also.

Twin Room 1: Two standard single beds with space to get dressed.

Lounge: Pull-out double bed in the living area.

Bathrooms: 2 toilets (a massive help for morning rushes or larger groups).

For the little ones: We keep a travel cot (please bring your own cot bedding) and a kids' travel buggy at the caravan for you to use free of charge, saving you valuable boot space.

Where We Are On the Park: The location is great for a mix of convenience and quiet: A short 2 to 5-minute walk to the main complex, amenities, and the sandy beach path.

Key Features Gated Front Decking: Fully enclosed with a gate, it means you can leave the caravan door wide open for a breeze without worrying about toddlers or dogs wandering off.

Space to Play: The dining table folds completely away to open up the living room, giving the kids plenty of floor space to play with the selection of indoor and outdoor games we leave in the van.

Proper Tech & Streaming: We have private Wi-Fi included and a full Sky TV package (including Movies), we also have Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, and Paramount+ ready to go on the TV—an absolute lifesaver for family nights or rainy days.

The Kitchen: Equipped with a full size fridge freezer and a 7-in-1 Ninja Air Fryer (which also slow-cooks and roasts) to make quick family meals easy.

We also leave tea, coffee, and standard condiments for you.

Stress-free arrival: All main beds are fully made up with fresh bedding before you arrive, so you can unpack and head straight out.

The quiet village of Gronant is a lovely coastal settlement in Flintshire in close distance to Prestatyn. The village itself is home to a local pub, general store, a quaint café, and a few takeaways, as well as the unique Gronant Dunes, a designated Local Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest stretching three miles dog-friendly sandy beaches, a nature reserve, and a golf course alongside. There are a range of renowned seaside resorts on the village doorstep including Prestatyn, Rhyl and Towyn, offering fun for all the family throughout traditional seaside amusements, watersports and scenic walking or cycling routes along the coastline. This is a great corner of Wales to discover historic attractions, find the 8th Century Offa's Dyke Pathway and a Roman bath house and Clwydian Hill Range, whilst the Snowdonia National Park, Llandudno, Conwy, and Denbigh can be found further afield, making Gronant an ideal base for Welsh exploration.
