We have now completed COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENTS and a review of our cleaning protocols and methods as part of the Private Owner’s sublet license review with Flamingo Land.
As part of this process we have identified a number of changes that we need to make to the presentation of the caravan and items we supply to make sure we minimise risk to both guests and the cleaning team.
This means that before your stay the caravan will be cleaned and then disinfected to control the risk of infection. To make this possible we have had to change somethings about our caravan:
Living Room: Items that are not essential for your stay have been removed. This list includes but is not exhaustive: DVDs, CDs, Cards, Dominos, Games, PlayStation Games, and decoration.
You are welcome to bring DVDs and games but please remember that anything left in the caravan when you leave will be disposed of immediately.
Kitchen: Essential equipment (plates, glasses, cutlery, pans/frying pan, utensils) is provided for a party of 6,
Cleaning products including washing up liquid, liquid soap, antibacterial cleaners/wipes, tea towels, dishcloths will no longer be provided as we cannot ensure that these products are disinfected for each guest.
Please bring your own and take them home with you.
Bedrooms:
We will provide a duvet, pillow, and mattress protector for each guest.
Duvets will be disinfected using disinfectant spray after each guest
A fresh mattress protector will be used for each guest
All pillows have protective coverings and will be disinfected after each guest.
Bed linen is a high-risk area for our cleaning team, and we have made the decision not to provide bed linen.
You must bring your own duvet cover, pillowcase, and base sheet for each bed you will use.
In exceptional circumstances we will provide bed linen @ a cost of £35
If you do not use bed linen as requested, you will be charged £100 from your security bond as this is a severe breach of our stated COVID-19 requirements.
When removing bed linen ready after your stay, please do not shake the items, simply fold them and place in a bag for the journey home.
Meeting with Other Guests: ONLY people staying in the caravan and listed on the booking form can enter the caravan.
If you wish to socialise – please ensure all visitors stay outside the caravan either on the veranda or garden area.
BBQ – where a BBQ is provided please use this as a base for a disposable BBQ which can be purchased from the shop. We will not be cleaning BBQ’s
DO NOT PUT DISPOSABLE BBQ’S ON THE PICNIC TABLE OR VERANDA AS THEY ARE A FIRE RISK AND THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF CASES OF SEVERE DAMAGE CAUSED.
Entertainment & Facilities
• Flamingo Land are following Government Guidelines regarding what is allowed. For July bookings this means the Swimming Pool & Gym at the Leisure Centre are closed and there is no live Entertainment.
• This may change in August, September, and October but only if Government Guidelines Change. At this stage we cannot predict or control what happens and accept no responsibility.

We believe you will enjoy your stay in a private hire caravan and make many great memories of your family time at Flamingo Land in 2020 BUT it will be different from previous visits just the same way as the ‘new normal’ has impacted on our everyday lives.

£100 Non Refundable Deposit secures your dates
The full amount including refundable security bond must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
Should your holiday be less than 8 weeks away at time of booking, a deposit of £100 with balance of payment within 7 days
Cancellation Policy:
If full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-let the dates with no refund of deposit.
Cancellation Charges:
More than 42 days but less than 56 days: non-refundable deposit only.
More than 30 days but less than 42 days: non-refundable deposit plus 50% of cost of holiday
Less than 30 days: full cost of holiday
PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate travel insurance should you need to cancel your holiday.
SECURITY BOND REFUND will be made on the Wednesday after holiday provided you have met the Terms and Conditions of Stay and no repairs, replacement of items or excessive cleaning is required when you vacate the caravan.
Please ensure you read The Terms and Conditions of Your Stay Document which is attached to your confirmation email and also displayed in our caravans for your reference.
By booking and paying for your holiday, you are accepting our Payment Terms & Conditions and the Booking Lead is responsible for ensuring The Terms and Conditions of Your Stay are met for every member of the party.
