About the owner

We are the family behind Happy Place Holidays. We have been coming to holiday in North Wales for many years (Laura has been coming to Greenacres since she was 8 and her Gangan bought a caravan here, and Martins family had a static caravan on a different site near Portmerion) We both love the area so much and have been holidaying here forever! The people we used to rent off were selling their caravan so we took a bit of a risk and bought it back in 2019. One of the best decisions we ever made. Description

We are lucky to be situated on Sands Lane, a stones throw from the beach (literally round the corner) and a short 5 minute walk to the park facilities which include a shop, chip shop, laundromat, bar/restaurant, amusements and entertainment complex including swimming pool, and soft play (*please note there is a charge for passes to access the swimming pool and Marina entertainment showbar, payable directly to Haven). There is so much to do, both on site and locally, we find something new every time we visit and have been coming here for 15 years!

The beach is just over the sand dunes, you can hear the sea from the veranda. You are able to access the dog friendly beach directly from the park (literally 2 minute walk from our caravan) or drive directly onto the beach just down the road (handy for loading up the car with everything you need for a day at the beach and setting up camp for the day).

The caravan has central heating and double glazing. There is a large double bedroom with ensuite toilet, a twin bedroom and a family shower room.

We have freestanding furniture in the living and dining areas. The sofa in the living room is a sofabed, meaning the caravan can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests plus a baby. There are 4 seats in the living area, 4 chairs at the dining table so it may be better suited to up to 4 guests. We can also provide a bed guard and/or a small travel cot on request (free of charge). The travel cot is smaller than standard so that it can fit in the master bedroom.

There is parking for 2 cars next to the caravan.

We are pet friendly, we just ask that they are well behaved and maximum 2 dogs. Please contact us prior to booking if you have more than 2 dogs.

We have free unlimited WiFi for our guests use and a smart TV with various streaming services built in (please log into your own accounts and log out when leaving).

£100 non-refundable deposit secures your dates, balance due 8 weeks before your holiday.

£100 security bond payable prior to your stay and refunded in full if no damages have occurred.

Had a lovely week here with our 2 dogs caravan was lovely and comfortable spacious in lounge which is great with having 2 dogs. Bedroom was again spacious lovely not having to fight with the walls when getting out of bed and comfortable bed, bonus having a en-suite which again have the room to use. Laura was really helpful with everything from day one from enquiries to booking and sending details and available if needed. Have booked again for next year and looking into booking another week with them. Definitely recommend to anyone

Highly recommend this lovely caravan. It’s perfect for families young and old. It was immaculately clean and very welcoming, with lots of handy touches such a cupboard filled with useful food like sauces, coffee, tea etc. and lots of toys and games for the children to play with. The cleaning cupboard and equipment was really helpful too. And the free WiFi is brilliant. The caravan is perfectly situated close to the beach but in a quieter little street just off the main road through the park. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck. The owner, Laura, is amazing and got back to us with any questions so quickly. The details given before arrival were really helpful and she couldn’t have done any more to help make our stay perfect. We will definitely be booking here again! Thank you for such a wonderful holiday.

Just back from a fabulous stay. Van was immaculate and so cosy. Everything you needed was there. Great location right next to the beach. Listening to the sea on the decking was my highlight. The facilities on site are brilliant and kept my little ones (6 and 3) entertained all week. Laura and James are great to deal with and go above and beyond.

We've just come back from our 4 night stay here. Can't recommend it enough. Laura, the owner, is so lovely and helpful. The caravan is immaculate and has lots of handy extras like sauces, washing up liquid, soap etc so you don't have to remember your own, which is a really nice touch. The caravan is situated in a quiet location very close to the beach. We had our 13 year old and our dog with us and so this was ideal to get straight onto the beach. We are definitely going to be booking again for next summer. Thanks for sharing your happy place with us ????

Our first family holiday with our 8 month old, very happy with the caravan, cleanliness, all the facilities available for us to use, such as cleaning products and tea coffee etc. also plenty of games and toys provided for families with younger children which was great for entertaining our little boy! It’s in a perfect location as well, literally opposite the beach and just a 5 minute walk to the main haven centre with swimming, shop, bar/restaurant and arcades! The campsite was lovely and such a beautiful place to visit! Laura was great and very helpful, would certainly revisit in the future, thanks again!

Caravan situated in great spot. Beach on doorstep. Excellent for us with a dog. Caravan was comfortable and had everything we needed. Having a veranda around van was great so dog could sit out Would stay here again.

Had a wonderful week at the caravan. Martin and Laura are a pleasure to deal with. The caravan is spotlessly clean and tidy. It's position on the park is ideal. So pleased you enjoyed your stay, the beach really is magnificent isn't it. If you walk far enough to the left as you get onto the beach you will find Samsons Cove, you can then head up past the golf club onto the road to do a circle. It's one of our favourite walks but a bit too far for the children at the moment. Look forward to welcoming you back :-)

Great communication. Price was very reasonable & competitive. Caravan was in a fabulous location, 2 minutes away from the lovely huge beach, perfect for exercising our dog! Clean & homely holiday home, everything we needed to relax was there. Would definitely visit again, highly recommended.

Just returned from a great little getaway with the family for our wedding anniversary amazing break caravan lovely and in a great spot close to beach and I think a nice walk to the complex was so nice and Laura is lovely she replied with in seconds to me messaging great customer service and we have just booked again for next year so thank you again look forward to next year now

Had a lovely stay. Caravan very clean. Weather could have been better but having the added bonus of WiFi kept our granddaughter occupied. Kitchen has everything you need. Good location, on a dead end road that’s not busy and a stone throw to the beach. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed for a 3 night winter break. The location of the caravan was fantastic for this as we wanted to go walking. It is literally two mins walk to the beach for long strolls then so nice to come back to a warm, cosy caravan courtesy of the fantastic heating. There were 2 adults and 2 teenagers in our party and was plenty of space for us all to eat and play games at the dining table and relax in the evening on the sofa and chairs in front of the TV. The owners were very pleasant to deal with. We didn’t encounter any issues on our stay but they gave enough information before arrival. Key box is a bit of a puzzle to get into but at least it’s safe! I would definitely recommend for this type of break and would love to see it in the summertime.

We had an amazing weekend here . The caravan is extremely comfortable , smart and homely . Well equipped and a lovely layout. The caravan is located right by the sand dunes and fabulous beach! Highly recommend this Caravan and the owners are extremely friendly and informative . Excellent all round !

Booking
- A maximum of 6 people permitted in the caravan. Please provide the full names and ages of all guests.
- This is a family site so no hen/stag groups are eligible to book.
- The lead name on the booking must be over the age of 21 years of age.
- £100 non-refundable deposit secures dates and final balance is due no later than 8 weeks before you go.
- We respect that sometimes you would like other family members/friends to join you for a day or two. This needs to be cleared with the owner before hand.
- Only named people are permitted to stay unless cleared by the owner and this break cannot be sold on to a third party.
- The day before your holiday we will send a code to the key safe that we have attached to the caravan stairs.
- Arrival time 3pm. When you have finished your holiday, please vacate the caravan at 9.30am.

- Security bond of £100 required which will be refunded in full provided no damage gas occurred, once the caravan has been checked by our cleaners for any damages
- Please ensure the fridge, freezer, microwave and oven are left clean ready for the next guests. Please make sure ALL rubbish is removed and taken to the communal bins. Cleaners will attend on the day you leave to check for damages and complete a changeover clean.

Cancellation policy
- If you cancel your break refunds are as follows-
Over 8 weeks = full refund less £100 non-refundable deposit
4-8 weeks =75% refund less £100 non-refundable deposit
2-4 weeks =50% refund less £100 non-refundable deposit
0-2 weeks =0% refund less £100 non-refundable deposit
