We are very fortunate to be sited on one of the larger woodland plots at Kelling Heath on the right hand side as you enter the park. We have had various caravans on this plot for the past 30 years. The whole family and many visitors have had so many happy memories here that we couldn't count. The plot has its own picnic area with a large bench and plenty of space to enjoy the peace and quiet. The plot is surrounded by rhododendron bushes, silver birch, oak, wild chestnut and pine trees. We are also close to the Weybourne ridge that gives us a sea view through the trees when the leaves fall in the autumn. The site centre is a five minute walk away and we are close to the North Norfolk railway 'halt' that serves Kelling Heath Caravan park with regular steam train services to Holt and Sheringham. Inside our cosy caravan the duvets and pillows are provided but you will need to bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels. The bed in the ensuite is king sized. There is a large fridge/freezer in the kitchen. There is also a four ringed gas cooker and oven in the caravan. In the living room is a flat screen LCD TV with DVD player should you wish to bring your own DVDs. There is a second, smaller TV in the ensuite bedroom which also features its own WC and wash basin. The caravan also features a master bathroom with WC, wash basin and walk in shower. The main room features a full length picture window which is a great vantage point to get up close and personal to a range of wildlife. With the current Covid-19 pandemic we will be deep cleaning the caravan ourselves in between guests. We advise guests to bring their own sanitiser to use for the duration of their stay.
Set in a large woodland plot on Kelling Heath Caravan Park you feel surrounded by trees and friendly animals yet have the comfort of knowing you are on a well fascilitated caravan park.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, nearby are lush fields and beaches that are a bird watchers paradise. Equally you can visit the seals or the safe, sandy beaches and quaint seaside towns of Sheringham, Cromer, Wells and Hunstanton.
Kelling Heath Caravan Park has the North Norfolk steam railway running through it and you can catch a steam train from the site to Holt and Sheringham.
The caravan itself has all the luxuries of home with double glazing and central heating. There is also an electric, blow out fire in the front room for instant heat. The plot has ample parking space and is bordered by birch, pine, oak, chestnut trees and gorgeous rhododendron bushes. There is ample outside furniture with two benches and a picnic bench at the side of the caravan. We are very fortunate to have one of the largest plots on site plus amazing picture windows in the lounge that give uninterrupted views of our plot and wildlife (frequent guests including playful squirrels, curious muntjac, friendly pheasants, rabbits and a whole host of woodland birds).
The caravan has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has an en suite and a king sized bed, the second bedroom has two smaller, single beds, overall sleeping 4 people.
Enjoy your days sunning in our woodland clearing or keeping cool beneath the tree. Enjoy your evenings at the restaurant, club house, take in a live band at the village centre or just enjoy the AMAZING night skies with no light pollution to dilute the stars and moonlight!

On this multi award winning site there is also an outdoor swimming pool which is free to use with a 'members pass' collected from the reception. The indoor pool is a part of a 'Fitness Express' complex that also features an extensive gym, spa pool, sauna and steam room as well as the large, indoor, 'fitness pool'. Great for pampering! There is a fee to use these facilities but longer passes work out quite economical and Fitness Express are now doing 2 for 1 offers on passes. For more information see; www.kellingheath.co.uk. There are regular 'woodland walk' activities for adults and children alike at Kelling Heath. The park also has its own trim and time trails that circle the park, maps can be purchased at the reception. There are numerous cycle routes around the extensive park grounds and beyond to the coast or into the north Norfolk countryside. The site has its own private hire cycles in the park centre. Here you will also find table tennis tables and a boules area. There are also pool tables and a games area indoors through the terrace bar as well as a children's play area to keep the kids occupied while you enjoy a quiet drink in the Forge bar or enjoy an act on the stage. The bandstand in the heart of the 'site village/ also features free acts all through the summer and drinks can be enjoyed at the numerous picnic benches as the sun sets and the owl start to glide. The site centre has its own, quaint restaurant and attached bar called 'The Forge' with its own, comforting log fire! There is also a take away on site if you want fast food to eat indoors or to take out. The site shop is well stocked and features an 'ecologically sourced' gift shop. Of course you also have the peace of the woodlands to enjoy as well as many nearby, safe sandy beaches...and some rocky ones if you enjoy rock pools or fossil hunting! In nearby Sheringham is a splash pool and numerous restaurants and quaint pubs. The nearby village of Weybourne has the North Norfolk steam railway which runs through the site at Kelling itself. Regular services mean you can enjoy a steam train trip to lovely Holt, with all its quaint tea rooms frequented by royalty, and the seaside town of Sheringham. North Norfolk was also used extensively in World War two. Churchill and Roosevelt met at the nearby tea rooms and the telecommunication posts are still visible on the coast. The Muckleburgh collection is just down the road and features a large collection or war memorabilia and vehicles/munitions. North Norfolk is our home from home. Miles of peaceful countryside, quaint coastal towns and lots and lots of activities in between which are advertised in the site reception.

Our first time at Kelling, but will come back again. Caravan very comfortable well equipped and clean. Loved seeing the wildlife right outside the window. Especially the antics of the squirrels, and the beautiful deer, that strolled through the garden. Plenty of local information available. The owner is very easy to contact, Would definitely recommend.

Me and my family have just returned from a fantastic week at this caravan. We did not want to leave. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with all the facilities and utensils necessary for a self-catering stay. The caravan is very homely and relaxing, situated about 10 minutes away from the Village square at Kelling. Highlights for us were watching the variety of birds which visited daily and the peaceful location of the caravan. A huge thank you to the owner for accepting our booking. We would not hesitate to recommend this to others and sincerely hope to return again ourselves.

We have stayed at Kelling Heath many times, and this very spacious plot is in a lovely location, very tranquil. The caravan is very well presented, with good equipment provided. Having an en-suite to the main bedroom is an asset. There is a helpful welcome book in the caravan which also gives useful local information. We would definitely like to book again and yet again!

My family and I have stayed in the park countless times and I think that this is one of the nicest plots by far. The caravan was lovely, very spacious and clean with everything you would need for your holiday. The added bonus of games, books and cuddly toys (my four year old son fell in love with the fox) was a lovely surprise. Will definitely be planning a return visit.
