This was our 2nd visit to Puffin Lodge. Once again we loved it. The lodge is situated towards the back of the site so minimal interuptions which certainly helps with young children. The lodge is very spacious and the little extras (toys, board games etc) are fab! The beach is literally a short walk away with a homemade ice cream parlour en route. Hoping to get back here again soon x

We had a lovely stay at Puffin Lodge. The caravan itself is much bigger than anticipated and even has an en-suite shower and toilet! It is beautifully and tastefully decorated with lots of homely touches. We stopped staying in caravans a few years ago due to a bad experience but Puffin Lodge has renewed our faith. Set in a quiet spot, it is just a short walk to the beach where the children had a great time diving off and rolling down the sand dunes. We would definitely stay here again. Jillian was so friendly and her attention to detail is second to none.

Only scoring a 10 as there is nothing higher! We had a brilliant stay in accommodation that totally exceeded our expectations in terms of what was provided, the cleanliness and the standard of the lodge. The owners clearly take a great level of care about their accommodation and this shows with all of the fabulous small touches that make a huge difference - from the umbrella at the door to the range of games and DVD's left to use. This might just seem what is expected but this host goes way above that and even provides high quality food such as bacon, jam and fruit for breakfast to enjoy with a range of drinks which are also provided. This is by far the best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in and I will certainly be back.

Beautiful lodge furnished and equipped to a high standard. The added welcome pack had more than what you needed in it. The location of the lodge was in a peacful area. Spacious decking for relaxing with seats and recling chairs . We were met at the lodge and shown around and had full instructions for everything by the lovely owners. We were only a 5.min walk to the beach which was clean and the only other people there were walkers and dogs. There is a nice cafe The Drift Cafe serves delicious cakes near the beach. We used the onsite takeaway for a.meal and found the food to be ok. Jillian you almost had sitting tenants as we felt so at home and relaxed we cannot wait to return hopefully later this year. The accommodation could not be faulted, a beautiful caravan, though more like a Lodge, with everything you could ever need. Toiletries, towels and bed linen all provided, even towels for the beach with sand blankets and lots more - could not have asked for more. Very well maintained and the owner was extremely friendly and approachable and left great instructions about everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only thing that did not live up to much was the Park itself, the arcades and playground were geared toward smaller children whereas my grandchildren are 11 and 12 (and very tall for their ages) plus the fact that we had to book to use the swimming pool for a one-hour session did not enhance the holiday. The shop on site also left a lot to be desired but all this does not reflect on the accommodation which, as stated, was well above average, in fact I would say the accommodation was phenominal.

Stayed for a couple of days and absolutely loved it!!! Extremely clean with a modern interior. Brilliant facilities, clean bedding and towels,also welcome basket. Can't ask for more will definitely be staying again.
