We have had many caravan holidays over the years which more towards Filey area. We discovered this site thorough the UKcaravans4hire site. I'm not exaggerating when I say we've just had the best weeks holiday in a very long time. We have 3 kids and my in-law's also came away with us. The caravan was spacious for us all. Location is next to the sea/beach using an unofficial path down to it. Only a couple of minutes walk to the shops, arcades, restaurant, leisure facilities. The caravan is also in a very quiet location. Every morning on the veranda I could look out at the sea whilst sipping on a coffee. The NISA shop on site is a little pricey but there is a post office /shop in the village which is 2 minutes in a car and a lot cheaper, it has everything. Before arrival the owner organised our swim days and passes so there was no queues or disappointment and our week was already pre-planned before arrival. The extra of crazy golf and bowling are booked through reception. 12 minutes drive to Bridlington. There is also a cracking beach near the site (Fraisthorpe) which is less than 10 minutes in a car (£5 all day parking) it has a CAFE and toilets on site. Me and my lads walked down the beach to Bridlington. We also went to Bridlington Animal Park which is also a short drive. On the only day we had bad weather we went to the sweet factory which has a huge soft play area and a huge sweet shop to keep the kids entertained. All the staff on site are very friendly and welcoming. It felt we'd done so much in such a short time. We will definitely be going again. Highly recommended.

We've stayed with Carol before in her previous caravan. This new caravan was everything we wanted and more. Quiet location with a sea view. Lovely big balcony to enjoy the sunshine. Inside was immaculately clean and well stocked with everything you need. One of best holidays we've ever had, we will be booking a third visit next year.

This caravan is spacious & spotlessly clean. It is furnished to a very high spec and the owner has added lots of personal little touches to make it feel like home. The kitchen has everything you need. There is also a hairdryer provided in the master bedroom. The owners are fantastic and very friendly & accommodating. We have stayed in the Lear family caravans twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed over the jubilee holidays and when we arrived the caravan was all trimmed up with jubilee decorations outside and bunting. Can totally recommend this caravan. You won’t be disappointed. This is our second stay with Lear leisure in their brand new Loire caravan. The van is very spacious and well presented with a fabulous sea view location. The owners are friendly and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a real bonus that they welcome small dogs much to the relief of our dachshund . We will definitely return and absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Outstanding caravan with 1st class decor. Sea views from the sofa and 2mins walk to the beach which stretches for miles. You can see bridlington & Flamborough head easily from the beach. Bar, restaurant and entertainment center is a few minutes walk from the caravan. The Lear family are a joy to deal with and we're extremely responsive & we will definitely be returning

Honestly the best stay. The owners went above and beyond. The cleanliness was outstanding, it felt like home from home with all the equipment and facilities we required and also the view of the sea from the caravan. Wow. Will definitely be booking again. caravan was very clean spacious and in the ideal location plenty of dvds and playstation to keep the kids entertained, linen charged at £65 extra thought was extremally high and charged £10 per mark or stain if there was any also the owner of the van made our stay a little off putting, i received a text from the owner saying they had been informed that we have more than 1 dog stopping in the van which violates the teams and conditions and she had been round to the van to check but we was out, we only had our dog we had other family members stopping on site in different vans at the same time and my daughter had popped over to the van for no more than 5 minutes with her dog and sat on the veranda as the van we was renting was next to the beach, we informed carol of this to get a text back saying she has spy's and informers everywhere and sorry one of her informers had made a mistake and she will tell them off lol , after that felt very uncomfortable in the van felt like we was being watched and spied on wont be stopping there again unfortunately

We had another lovely stay at Lear Leisure. The caravan was perfectly situated with a sea view and quiet location. It had everything you needed and as a bonus a great selection of family games and films. The caravan was very clean and it had a homely feel. Carol is always very responsive and happy to help with any queries. Highly recommended!

Excellent comfortable home from home stay in the Lears beautiful cosy caravan. The caravan holds all the essentials you need for a perfect stay..roomy..comfy..modern all the mods cons..situated right on sea front and easy access to all the parks facilities. Carol can't do enough to ensure you have a pleasant no hassle stay would definitely recommend and we will be back did nt want to come home.

Super efficient management of all aspects of our holiday from Carol and Sarah. Couldn't be faulted and responded to my contact immediately throughout the process and on holiday to solve a minor problem. The caravan is in a great position and we could hear the sea only a stone's throw away. The caravan is spotless and fitted out with everything you could need. We had a great week.

I was lucky enough to be able to get a last minute booking. Carol and her daughter were fantastic and they even got another gas bottle delivered at short notice when one ran out. (I was never without gas as there are always two) I've stayed in both of their caravans and they are both equally fab. Very clean and have the basics included. (Cleaning products etc). Highly recommended. I was able to add my friend onto the insurance at short notice when she was able to join me. So Carol and Lear Leisure - THANKYOU X?X

We booked this caravan for 5 nights and loved it so much booked again for the following week! The van is spotless,well equipped and comfortable. It is on a lovely quiet spot with a really nice verandah over looking the sea. It is a perfect base for exploring the east coast. The owner Carol is a very warm,friendly and welcoming lady and both her and Keith were very helpful at all times even going the extra mile to make sure our stay was happy! We wholeheartedly recommend and will definately return hopefully in the not too distant future Many thanks

Me and my sister had a 2 night stay in this wonderful van. The view of the sea was beautiful even on a rainy day! The van was immaculate throughout, not a cushion out of place! A fantastic collection of toys, dvd’s for all ages. Every pot and pan you can own, a real home from home. I cant wait to book again for next year to bring more family as Skipsea Sands is somewhere everyone can enjoy. Thank you for an amazing stay

Booked this caravan for my elderly in-laws for a week as we were staying close by. The caravan is spotless & nicely decorated & was really well equipped. The lounge & kitchen/dining area are open plan with nice seating The location is in a quiet cul de sac with a small decking area which was perfect for a coffee or glass of wine & sea view. The owners & their daughter were really helpful & friendly. Although the site is very family orientated they had no problem with noise from the bar, shops & amusements close by. My only problem was that the kitchen cupboards are quite high & couldnt quite reach everything! Maybe the crockery & glasses could be kept in the lower unit for us shorties!! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful short break here. The caravan had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. It is in a lovely area of the site with sea views, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. The booking process was easy and Carol was always available if needed.
