About the owner

We are a Swiss couple. I am an English teacher for French speaking students and my husband used to be a Science teacher and has just retired. We live in Switzerland and Rosalind is our second home. We love it and are happy to share it with respectful people when we are not in England. My husband loves photography, cycling and walking. We love Devon and I am a big fan of Agatha Christie. I have read her books several times and we love going to Greenway every time we are in England.

Description

The access to the caravan is via a few steps which lead to the decking. There is parking space 20 yards from the caravan.

There is a spacious and comfortable sitting room with TV, dvd player and dvds, books and a lovely fireplace.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons: dishwasher with tablets provided, microwave, gas hob, oven, fridge with a pint of milk provided, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine with ten pods provided, kettle, toaster, salt and pepper, washing up liquid, cloths, kitchen paper.

The dining area sits four people and boasts stunning views of the sea.

The master bedroom has a king size bed (152x200 cm) and plenty of storage. The en-suite is small but has a bathtub.

The twin bedroom is compact and ideal for two children and has 2 single beds (80x190 cm). The family bathroom is spacious and has plenty of storage. The shower is a good size.

We have just returned from a four night stay in this beautiful caravan. The caravan was spotlessly clean and so comfortable, especially the bed in the master bedroom. Kitchen well equipped and loved the extra touch of milk and chocolate biscuits in the fridge , also a few other bits and pieces to get you started which included some lovely little toiletries, it really had a personal touch. Always try to book private caravans now as so much better than the ones owned by the site for these readers. The owners were very friendly and very efficient and the lovely lady Lorraine who helps them to look after it was so friendly and helpful. The view from the decking is by far the best bit as you can see all around the bay and there are some nice comfortable chairs with a table , the caravan is also situated in a nice quiet area of the park. Would definitely return again! The site itself is in a good location, has an outdoor pool which we didn’t use and there is a large entertainment venue where we played link up bingo with other park holiday sites , unfortunately didn’t win but mother in law thoroughly enjoyed playing. It is a really nice venue but was always so quiet, this was the same when we visited the site 8 years ago too. Probably will get busier during the school holidays I guess. Overall the caravan made our holiday!

Caravan 217 was immaculate. Very clean and tidy with an excellent view of Torbay. Had a very comfortable week stay. Easy access to public transport to get around the area. The owner has a Manager on site to greet you on your arrival and she is very helpful and informative. Will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful caravan, lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. The welcome biscuits were a lovely touch and the children were very happy! The coffee machine and pods were a great bonus, a real home from home. The location is fantastic, with stunning views. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We hope to be back soon!

Faultless experience dealing with Monique, fast comms when I asked a question and always on hand if needed. Immaculately presented caravan, very modern and good WiFi (important for the kids!). Great views, allot to do in the area. Didn't pick the best week for weather but that's my fault! Great local walks, beaches a bit packed but to be expected coming out of restrictions. Caravan is highly recommended.

One of the best caravans we've stayed at. Lovely area with lots of things to do around. Spectacular views, nice walks on the coast, a blast for children and parents if they want to take their heads of the phones :).
